anismith
What happened to Cutler?
Fedaiken
They were speculating that something was wrong with his hand at the end of the first half, but I think they just wanted a change. Ha! Then Langford gives it up lol
gilthorp
Pathetic would be a nice word to use here as a descriptor. This bum is done and their only offensive weapon will run fast from town next year. Possibly the worst team in football.
Wolverines Fan
They said it was a throwing hand injury. And gilthorp is right. Alshon is going to hotfoot it out of there during the offseason.
gilthorp
Something is terribly wrong in Chicago. It has to be Cutler, but it is more. I will say this is a 3 or 4 win team tops.

FYI latest NFL power rankings have the Bears #31, Browns #32. I didn't think the Browns could go 0-16 but I'm starting to believe.
gilthorp
Sprained thumb - no surgery needed on his thumb, but surgery is needed in the front office and ownership.
Footballjoe
I never liked Jeffery on my fantasy team but could not explain why. Then I watched the game last night and figured it out........Cutler.
Rileyrott
cutler may have never lived up to his potential. cutler may have alienated teammates. but there is something fundamentally wrong with this franchise. They never seemed to take their OL seriously enough. and maybe I'm bitter over how John Fox screwed up the superbowl for denver and subsequently phoned it in the next year while looking for a new job during the playoffs, but trvck fox. CHI needs a complete d00shing, top to bottom and back again. For me, it started in the 2013 playoff loss to the Ravens with his CRAPPY conservative play calling at the end of regulation.
Papajohn
For me, it started in the 2013 playoff loss to the Ravens with his CRAPPY conservative play calling at the end of regulation. That loss is on Manning and nobody else.
Grits and Shins
He got a boo-boo on his thumb, between that and a sprained mangina he had to sit on the bench.
Papajohn
so, rahim moore is in the clear? Yes. If not for Manning, then the Ravens last few drives wouldn't have mattered.
Rileyrott
That loss is on Manning and nobody else. Manning's not the one who, when all we needed was a first down to end the game, decided to run on 3rd down with a chance to ice the game in regulation, and Fox having Manning kneel with two timeouts and 31 seconds left to play for overtime.
darin3
Cutler looked "off" (even for him) before the injury. Reports are that he hurt the thumb in Week 1 and exacerbated said injury last night. I'm no Cutler apologist but I could see how that may be the case. gilthorp
I don't question his toughness, but do question his ability. To think he isn't tough is just someone and not paying attention.
