michaelredd9
Report: Watt re-injures back, season in doubt http://www.rotoworld.com/headlines/nfl/342993/report-watt-re-injures-back-season-in-doubt?ls=roto:HOU:topheadlines NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports J.J. Watt re-injured his surgically-repaired back and will be out "an extended period of time," possibly the rest of the season. Watt had back surgery over the offseason, but made it back in time for Week 1 when some thought he'd miss 2-3 games. It's fair to wonder if he pushed himself too hard to get back and did more harm than good. Either way, this is a massive loss for the Texans as a team. Easily the most dominant defensive player in the game, Houston will now have to turn to some replacement-level player. Back injuries are never good, and Watt turned 27 last spring. He even started talking about retirement back in April. PPIchamp
The laundry list of injuries Watt sustained last year that came out preseason, the back surgery, all together cooled me from drafting JJ anywhere, got lots of Mack instead. That tidal wave is merely just gathering strength. I hope.
