Playoff tiebreakers are set to be in season HTH record. I think (as in I could be manufacturing this recollection...but I don't think so) it used to be ERA, but we decided to move on from having an arbitrary category settle the match. IIRC you could also break ties based on seeding, but HTH seems more right.

Tiebreaker for playoff games is indeed regular season HTH but that's set by Yahoo, not us.  I happen to hate it.

I read we can set it up as highest seed going into playoffs instead of head to head in regular season. But those are the only 2 options.

Thanks for looking it up. Probably something we can put to a preseason vote in 2017.

By the way, what happens if the season series is tied 1-1?

It goes by totals.  So you beat me 8-4, and if I beat you 7-5, you would advance.

Payouts are complete for this year so I will unpin this.  A new Dues 2017 post has been made.
