michaelredd9
http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/9425/charles-sims Bucs placed RB Charles Sims (knee) on injured reserve. Oct 10 - 3:07 PM Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter
DMD
Gotta think that this really helps Doug Martin when he comes back in Week 7. Jacquizz Rodgers is not going to be a 1:1 replacement for Sims. Know who could be? Justin Forsett...
doobwaa
yeah and here I thought I got through a week without a season ending injury to one of my rosters
michaelredd9
Since the Buccaneers play tonight, it's possible to drop Sims for Jacquizz if your league allows pickups up until the start of games.

Def.
They haven't stated if it's a season ending injury. Any IR move at this point is essentially season ending for fantasy purposes.

michaelredd9
Any IR move at this point is essentially season ending for fantasy purposes. Since they placed him on IR before their week 5 game, I think he'll be able to come back week 13. I wouldn't roster Sims. But there are plenty of players that I wouldn't hesitate rostering at this point.

medalofhonor
Anybody worried about Martin's volume going forward now that Jacquizz put in a great performance ? Edited October 11, 2016 by medalofhonor
DMD
I found it encouraging that Rodgers did that well. That means when Martin comes back he'll be even better. Rodgers is not suddenly a better runner than he ever was. He's just on a team that can block better.

Honestly don't think Martin's value changes much.
SeductiveNun
He caught 5 passes on 5 targets week 1. Got hurt the next game. Hard to say for sure, but he's at least somewhat involved in the passing game.
luke davenport
He's still not going to catch any balls. Honestly don't think Martin's value changes much. Caught 33 last year and 49 his rookie year. If he's healthy he gets receptions too.
