michaelredd9
Report: Geno Smith to start Week 7 vs. Ravens http://www.rotoworld.com/headlines/nfl/345283/report-geno-smith-to-start-week-7-vs-ravens?ls=roto:NYJ:topheadlines ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Jets will name Geno Smith their starting quarterback for Week 7 against the Ravens. The Jets are deciding between two evils. Smith admitted before the Week 6 loss to the Cardinals that he was "getting antsy" to play. Ryan Fitzpatrick was horrible again in Arizona, and Smith replaced him in the fourth quarter only to play just as bad, completing 4-of-6 passes for 31 yards and an interception while also fumbling on a sack. Smith isn't going to be much of an upgrade, but it's hard to be worse than Fitzpatrick. Coach Todd Bowles said Tuesday that Bryce Petty and rookie Christian Hackenberg may also play at some point this season. The Jets are done. gilthorp
This is usually the time Brandon Marshall starts to be his locker room distraction as well. Smith is not the answer, and I'd be looking for ways to get those other QB's in there as soon as they can. I'm also thinking Forte gets ridden a little harder than they have lately, so he's a good buy low candidate.

I felt like NY was a good change of scenery for him.
nyjets18
Well, to his credit I don't remember him being a locker room distraction last season. I felt like NY was a good change of scenery for him. They where also winning that season. This season they are 1-5 so he must be getting frustrated. But who knows the Chiefs went 1-5 to start last season and made the playoffs so they could still do it when the back end of their schedule is much easier.
