McCoy out Sunday, could miss multiple weeks

http://www.rotoworld.com/headlines/nfl/345419/mccoy-out-sunday-could-miss-multiple-weeks?ls=roto:BUF:topheadlines

ESPN's Josina Anderson reports LeSean McCoy (hamstring) isn't expected to play Sunday and could miss multiple weeks.

Buffalo was holding out hope on McCoy, but he's not going to play after suffering a setback in Wednesday's practice. An earlier report suggested he's only dealing with a Grade 1 strain, though his status beyond this week is in question given his history of hamstring issues. Mike Gillislee will start in McCoy's place and is a plug-and-play RB2 against Miami. The Bills could also be without Robert Woods this week.

Thanks. Got Gills in three leagues now. I'm a fantasy football savant!

I'm confused.

Why do people think that Gillislee will suddenly do something?

Well, I'll probably only start him in one of those three leagues this week. He cannot be deployed against me, and he'll be there in case someone gets dinged. Is that a bad thing?

With only 64 career carries, Gillislee has touchdown runs of 40 yards, 44 yards, and 60 yards. He has 6 total touchdowns with only 75 touches. He also had an atrocious game of 24 carries for 28 yards in week 16 of last year. Buffalo is a good team to be a running back on. He clearly has homerun abilities.

and yet, 4th year in the league. I guess I'm jadded since so many were predicting so much when he was with MIA.

I'm probably wrong, but that's never stopped me before!

Yeah, I'm not one to think a running back is great until he actually produces. The proof is in the pudding. But being a running back for Buffalo is a good situation and he doesn't have much competition. When a good backup gets the call to start, teams often give them 20+ carries to see what they have in the backup. But he did fail the only time he has gotten more than 10 carries.

According to the blurb on CBS this ESPN reporter is the only "insider" reporting he is out, the team has not confirmed he is out either. I'd lean towards it being a GTD, and if McCoy is in do you want to trust Gillislee.

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/players/playerpage/1243187/lesean-mccoy

They mention the ESPN report and then this

"We'll at least note that the "out" status hasn't been confirmed by the team or most other insiders yet, and in fact coach Rex Ryan said not too long ago at his Thursday meeting with reporters that he's hopeful McCoy can still play this week. Wait until further confirmation, but be prepared for negative news concerning McCoy's injury. "

are you in a RBBC?

because unless you're splitting touches with someone I don't see why you couldn't repeat

I was in the bathroom at work and read this. Laughed out loud pretty good. Probably got the same looks as the gentleman in the bank

Maybe he performs like so many of our "studs." An hour this week, minute man next week. Next thing you know he's traded off for a rookie.

I don't think it's a committee per se, but I could see Bush and maybe Williams steal some carries. We haven't seen Bush because they haven't been dressing 4 backs. He hasn't done much the past couple years, but it could end up a 60/40 or 70/30 split between Gill and the others if they run a lot. McCoy is a special talent and we don't know what the distribution will be like which is what makes it somewhat risky... with a huge upside.

I'll probably regret not starting him but want to see how they look before I put him ahead of my Charles, Ware, Quizz, maybe even Stewart.

Read Karlos Williams last year. In games with 7 or more carries, K.Williams scored 17,13,23,10,13pts. Gillislee is ranked top 20 RB everywhere I look this week.

ok, but when I fuck my wife for an hour, she doesn't expect it the next week again.

Wet dreams do not count, and cannot be predicted to reoccur.
