Bridgewater May Never Play Again in NFL

That is a real shame. I hope he can make it back. Also these opinions did come from doctors that aren't treating him. They are opinions based on generalities of the injury as opposed to Bridgewater's specifics. At any rate it doesn't sound very hopeful. I am wishing him the best.

Would be a real shame, but let's not overreact to one report that clearly tells us (if you read beyond the headline) that these doctors don't really know and have not even examined Bridewater or seen his medical records.

"These doctors around the league aren't doctors who have intimate medical knowledge of Bridgewater's knee, so it's not entirely fair to believe anyone could really have a full diagnosis of where Bridgewater stands."

All I'm saying is don't overreact to something that is more rumor and speculation, wait for real facts.

I must have missed where some doctors with real knowledge of his injury/condition stated it is life or limb threatening, the hack report by Schefter doesn't even say that. Yet its something you fully believe is true.

Whatever, overreact to speculation and rumor, that is what people on the internet do best. Well that and complaining because they listened to some stupid rumor and overreacted.

sounds like someone owns him in dynasty? :fool:

Nope just somebody tired of people treating rumor and speculation as fact.

i don't remember which article I read that said it was life- and limb-threatening, but a quick search...

all I'm saying is that his career is irrelevant compared to him focusing on having the best life possible going forward. I know this is a FF site, but it seems like such things are forgotten sometimes.

I don't disagree with that and yes that is often forgotten by fantasy players. I do recall reading when he got hurt that it COULD HAVE been much worse, could have lost the leg had he not gotten proper treatment in time. But that was the case when it happened almost 2 months ago now, nothing in Schefter's report or other recent things were talking about it being life or limb threatening (pretty sure that isn't the case anymore either). So I was wondering where you got that from.

Of course I missed your real point which is "real life >>> NFL life >>>> fantasy players needs".
