TheGingaNinja
Look...I get it. He's had a few very good weeks and the Chiefs are holding back on Charles, but I just can't understand why people are regarding him as an RB1. I am heavily biased, as I'm a Charles owner who dumbly dropped ware once I though the Chiefs were going to give Charles most of the carries, but I genuinely believe Charles is still THE running back in Kansas. He's Jamaal Charles, people. If I still had him, I'd be trying to trade him away ASAP.

dougsul
He until Charles is healthy which may not occur until next season, the main runner on a team that loves to run the ball and throw short passes. Ware is a three down back on a team that does not use a committee. IMO Ware is an above average running back with the a short yet strong body type. These kind of runners get the goal line carry's and do not get as hurt as much as the taller running backs.
Judge Smales
I'll ask the opposite question, why are you so sure Charles will be back this year? What makes you think he will be back, he can't even get through practice. We are halfway through the season and he really hasn't seen the field outside of half a game. I'm a Ware owner and am riding him until I see something from Charles. No reason not to. Charles has shown nothing so far this year and in my leagues scoring system Ware is the #8 RB, not bad for an 11th round pick. The guy is not sharing carries and getting about 20 touches a game. Not trying to start an argument and get the frustration of a high draft pick doing nothing, but as a Ware owner I'm enjoying the ride and he has come in handy to cover for Hyde last week and this week. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good. Edited October 26, 2016 by Judge Smales
Qboro147
Jamal Charles is indeed one of the best RB's in the NFL. At the same time he is one of the most injured also. He has not been healthy since 2014 and to be honest I don't believe he will ever play a full season again. So while Ware is in no way near "Charles " type caliber...he will always hold value because of the injury history, because he gets volume. I believe everyone holding on to memories of Charles' former dominance will be sorely disappointed.
Shaft
And don't forget what Ware did last year. He is an RB1, if people like it or not. I drafted Charles in one league, and double handcuffed him with Ware and West.
