Is this trade too reactionary? Should I be more patient?

I value Gurley over Gordon ROS. So you're basically getting Marshall and Edelman for Dez. Depending on WR depth, it's solid. I'd do it.

Curious why you value Gordon more ROS. Gurly has only had 2 double scoring games this year. I know Gurly is the superior talent but that doesn't always mean the superior fantasy player. Marshall has struggled all year. So has Edelman. Dez has had one good game but I guess i'm more optimistic about his ROS than Marshall's...

It's simple really. Yes, Gurley has only had two double digit games. Fair enough. But, he was the consensus number 1 pick in fantasy, is healthy and is coming off a bye. He's absolutely the superior talent over Gordon. I just see a different second half for Gurley. He's the ultimate buy low candidate. It's the same logic people used for Jamaal Charles and waiting and waiting for him to return. And he was hurt while still being forecasted as a "top 5 back." Gurley is the guy you trade then drops 180 and 3 on you and wins your a championship. Gordon has been good but if you really watch him, he's not the guy that's going to win you a championship. He hasn't had his bye week, and for the next 7 weeks, I think Gurley outplays him. Gurley is a first rounder who has struggled but he can also flip a switch and win you next week.

OK. I can buy that. What do you think about the other half of the trade - which would be Edelman/Marshall for his Dez. I'd then be able to pick up Henry as my Murray handcuff.

Well, that part of the trade is interesting. Dez is probably the better talent of the bunch, and Edelman and Marshall are probably matchup plays at this point. Great depth if you already have a stud WR you are starting weekly, but also keep in mind Dez may or may not stay healthy the ROS. It's a gamble but for your team I can see this going either way. It's honestly a tough call- I would feel more comfortable trading away two WRs and upgrading either at RB or WR.

I have Hilton and Crabtree for WR1 and Flex respectively. Dez would be locked in at my other WR spot next to hilton - gambling that he stays healthy. And i've been looking to move Edelman bc I already have Brady/Gronk/Gostowski which is a lot of patriots.

You think theres a different WR I should target for un upgrade with Marshall/Edelman?

Mike Evans, Beckham, Julio, Green or Brown. Honestly those are about it. I'd still be cautious on moving Gurley though- but it's your team. I'm 5-3 and traded Gordon for Gurley last week on bye straight up, faced the guy I traded Gordon to the same week and won. Go with your gut.
