Finn5033
I think he had 1 catch for 2 yards. Lmao Nope he had 0 pts. I'm done with him. He's had 2 big games that helped me win but other than that he has cost me wins. It seems Thomas is the guy to have for the Saints Edited November 27, 2016 by Finn5033
michaelredd9
Cooks entered this week the 11th highest scoring wide receiver on the season. He hadn't scored less than 11.6 points since week 4. All players have down weeks. If inconsistency bothers you, then you shouldn't have drafted him. He was more inconsistent last year than this year. He scored less than 10 points in 6 games last year. He scored more than 20 points in 6 games last year. He scored between 10 and 20 points in only 4 games last year.

His team put up 49pts and he didn't even catch a pass. Nobody would have thought that possible unless he went out early with an injury. Yes he may have been more inconsistent last year but there was reason to believe he'd be better this year. He's too inconsistent for me and that's why I'm done with him, I won't draft him again. Especially in a non PPR league. And if you look at his stats the only reason he is that high in scoring is because of 2 big games. He has also put up quite a few stinkers this year. michaelredd9
Usually when a wide receiver publicly whines, the quarterback makes sure to feed him the ball to quiet him. I'm not sure that Drew Brees can be manipulated like that. Report: Brandin Cooks is upset with his role http://www.rotoworld.com/headlines/nfl/349399/report-brandin-cooks-is-upset-with-his-role?ls=roto:NO:topheadlines ESPN's Mike Triplett reports Brandin Cooks has "growing frustration" with his role in the Saints' offense. Triplett cites the receiver himself and "sources." Per Triplett, "this isn't a new issue." Cooks somehow wasn't targeted in Sunday's 49-21 drubbing of the Rams, and is averaging fewer weekly looks than Michael Thomas and Willie Snead. In theory, we'd like to be sympathetic to Cooks' cause, but there isn't an obvious fix. Drew Brees has three excellent receivers and is wisely spreading the ball around. That being said, it's hard not to envision the squeaky wheel getting some grease this week against the Lions.RotoGrinders.com Daily Slant: This appears to be the perfect time to hop aboard the Brandin Cooks bandwagon. The Rams made a concerted effort to eliminate him Sunday, giving him the star receiver treatment despite Michael Thomas being arguably the more complete pass-catcher. Even as the Saints moved Cooks around the field, the Rams continued to throw heavy coverage at him. Was the "rotogrinders" part there when you posted, it says the Rams were blanketing him all game, covering him like the star receiver. That may also explain ZERO TARGETS.
Chloroform Rx
I think it has more to do with the Saints wanting to show teams that blanketing him like that does nothing to stop their offense. Of course this is just my opinion, but it's what I always thought about the situation. Edited November 30, 2016 by Chloroform Rx
rajncajn
This is a result of reading way too much into a Twitter post. There's really nothing to see here. “They tell you its a business. Well, I guess I have to turn into a businessman”.
