Scorcher
I've started him every week with the exception of the Denver games and he has been a very good and consistent player for me. He doesn't get much noise, but he quietly getting the job done. He is having a solid 2nd year season. michaelredd9
He has a torn labrum  He sounds like a player that could be shut down in a few weeks if/when the Chargers are eliminated from playoff contention.
Shaft
I have Tyrell Williams, AJ Green, and Alshon Jeffrey on the same team. I'm 9-3 and going into the playoffs, potentially with no wide receivers.

There is a question of his catch radius though.
Chloroform Rx
Are we assuming it's a torn labrum because of his history or has this been reported?

darin3
Today's the day the team reports practice status. I would assume he'd be a limited participant, if a participant at all. I grabbed (and am starting) Inman. I don't think Williams will be very effective if he plays.  http://www.chargers.com/team/injury-report  Click there in about 2-3 hours. If he's still a DNP on Friday there's no way he plays.
isleseeya
Question is is he going to just miss one game ( if any ) or more ? Guess it's too early to tell but would love to have Inman as number 1 wr for chargers during fantasy playoff weeks
Def.
Question is is he going to just miss one game ( if any ) or more ? Guess it's too early to tell but would love to have Inman as number 1 wr for chargers during fantasy playoff weeks  Benjamin just got back from injury last week. Inman is unlikely to post the same numbers Tyrell has been.
tdybaz
I disagree, I don't think Rivers jives with Benjamin that well. I drafted Benjamin in a few leagues and anticipated him doing really well... I mean, if he can get almost 1000 yards with the crap the Browns roll out for QBs, imagine what he could do with Rivers, right? Bupkis. Meanwhile, Inman is the sort of tall, athletic, rangy WR that Rivers seems to like, and fed him well last week. I doubt Inman will "blow up," but I think Rivers just seems to have a better vibe with him than Benjamin. I had the 9th spot in waivers, and managed to grab Inman... whew! Scorcher
If Williams were out or limited I wouldn't hesitate to put Inmam in. He shows up when Williams and Benjamin are out or hobbled. Rivers just knows how to make plays with what he has.

darin3
Worth noting is that this is nothing new for Williams - he played with the same injury in college. Â That said, there's various levels of severity with this kind of thing. Who knows how badly his range of motion is affected. Â I'm starting Inman, even if Williams was 100%.
