ImNotSoIgnorant
In my all except one of my leagues Bortles is a top 12 QB. Yet I find myself rarely starting him after mid season. Does anyone start Bortles every week, him being a top 12 QB and all that?
loaf
nope I think I only started him on my reg QB's bye week.
Montana is da Man
Same here, only started him as a bye week fill in
loaf
Most folks didn't draft him to be a QB1 so while Bortles may have put up better numbers on occasion than my QB, he was benched because I had a Carr or a Brees ahead of him. I did drop Bortles this week for Kaepernick though.
Tripleshot
He's trying to take over Stafford's title of garbage time points king. Look like crap the first three quarters then throw for 200 yards and 2 TD's while behind by 20+ points in the 4th quarter.

The waiver wire guys looked better and don't scare the crap out of you when Bortles only has like 88 yards in the 3rd. I remember sitting there horrified one week looking at his line and he salvaged it in the 4th. My only thought at the end was ...what if he hadn't? Yeah that's basically what its like every week with Bortles. So if you start him you do not watch the game, too stressful.
