isleseeya Posted December 1, 2016 Share Posted December 1, 2016 In 7 money leagues , and I have a bye in playoffs already in 4 of them ( I locked up first or 2nd place in those ) and then in my other 3 leagues I am already out and can't make playoffs. Very strange to have nothing to play for at all for weeks 13 and 14 . Kinda boring as well. Now just hope to be ready to do well in semi's of the 4 leagues I am alive In. It's a great advantage to have three weeks to prepare for week 15. Get you DST's lined up. Kicker's with good matchups - attempt to avoid potentially bad weather situations. And if you have the bench spots, grab a lottery ticket or three, guys who could be great contributors if the man ahead of them goes down, like Hunter Henry for ex. He was a solid producer with Gates out, and he has a great playoff schedule: vs OAK and @CLE, both are top 10 matchups for TE's. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Judge Smales Posted December 2, 2016 Share Posted December 2, 2016 Been able to do this quite a few times in the last 5 seasons, unfortunately the majority of the time I end up one and done when I get the bye. The times I've won my main league it's been by squeaking into the playoffs and then having a good run in the playoffs. Peaking during the regular season hasn't always worked out the best for me. I guess I always look at which players I won't have to face in the playoffs. If I win no need to worry about facing Ezekiel in the playoffs.
