Kaepernick benched

I'm starting him over Flacco. I can't figure those two out. I keep missing the mark. Ironically, they're best games were against the same team. I should've caught that. I need a high ceiling this week playing the #1 seed. My only concern is Kaep getting pulled for crappy play. I wouldn't have to worry about Flacco getting pulled.

Lol I'm doing the exact opposite. At least one of us will hopefully get decent points.

Watch it and find out.

You do realize this isn't some free channel I'm just ignoring right? I'd have to pay extra, and not a small amount for a channel that is on 7 hours once a week. Maybe next time there's a free preview I'll try it, but I'm not purchasing it. I don't pay to watch porn why should I pay for this.

People must love it, because they're willing to pay extra for such a small amount of coverage, yet everybody is griping about their TV bills being so high. I tend to be cheap, so maybe that is the big deterrent for me. And most Sunday afternoons I'd be watching the Browns and not looking at RZ for half the day, so even less value. Since the Browns play in the early slot most weeks that means I'd have RZ to cover 3-4 late games, and if there's a big game (DAL-PHI, GB-CAR, etc) I'd rather just watch the whole game (I watch on DVR with delay and can FF past things I don't want like commercials, injury delays, reviews, halftime. So maybe I'm a bit attention challenged as well, but I also like to be in control.)

When I last tried to watch it was not for me, the jumble of games all going on at once, bits and pieces, (even if it includes most significant plays) was just too hard to follow. Reminded me of blipverts from Max Headroom.

One more thing, for those who are not aware there are two versions, the original which was done by DirecTV and the new one by NFL Network avaialbe on most TV packages (but for a fee at least on Dish and AT&T).

PS Sorry to contribute to the derailing of this thread, but this is more interesting than discussing Kaepernick.

LOL ... the RedZone exists so you can "Catch every touchdown from every game Sunday afternoons with NFL RedZone from NFL Network". Quote taken directly from their website.

Even if they show other plays I still maintain the RedZone is for people who don't have the attention span to watch a football game. People that watch the RedZone want to see highlights and likely are only concerned about which players scored how many fantasy points.

I used to play that game. Now when I turn on a football game I ignore fantasy football and stat lines and watch the game.

Fitting that this post is in Comic Sans.

I usually get it free after bartering every year with my cable provider...Either way I'd pay for it every year..So yeah, I like it. Love it is close but a little strong. lol

I watch the now LA Chargers on a different screen when they are on but usually I am cooking or hosting and move about the house so having the RZ and regular broadcast games on different screens works for me. Anything I miss I just rewind the dvr and catch up. Streaming will be the wave of the future and I'm pretty much ready to make that leap once the options catch up to my needs (wants). As far as jumbled broadcast, I'd say it takes at least 2-3 times of viewing to get the flow of RZ and after that, MOST will like the presentation better than broadcast tv with all it's bs.

On topic..When Kaep suxors I can watch all the other games instead of dirt balls intended for wr's.

$10 more than I want to add for my cable bill for an experiment so I can "see the light".

I hate playing games like that to get the better rate, I should since I'm a cheap bastard but the aggravation and frustration trying to be the nice guy to their "sorry that's the best I can do" bit would be too much.

Sounds like your Sundays of football are rather disjointed, cooking, hosting people, running around the house etc. My Sundays are not that way I sit and watch football, usually by myself unless my brother is visiting. Many of my friends are not into it and wouldn't like the DVR viewing, etc. When I need a break I pause or stop the game, use the bathroom get something to eat etc.

I get that you guys love it, think it is great, etc. I don't and not sure I would, and not willing to spend money to find out.

Not talking you into it just showing why it works for a lot of folks. Disjointed? ummm no. Still miss almost nothing and have people over and get to enjoy my Sunday football as it should be... loud and fun. It's as it should be without being at every game live...Nachos Beer Hot Dogs Hamburgers and Friends. People all upset or happy about our FF fortunes. House is a mess which sux but small price to pay. You no likey? Ok...but don't try to shame me because I do- while telling me paying for it is the devil. It's not.

PS-I still suck at this "Game" of FF. lol I just figure I should have fun while doing it.

Never meant to do that, sorry you thought that was my point. Whenever I tell RZ viewers I don't care for it they try to convince me to try it, and tell me how great it is and how it covers the whole game. So I probably get a bit defensive and try to justify my side.

Well....I was saying how great it was so....

Red Zone is awesome during the last 5 minutes of the early games, especially if 4 or 5 are coming down to the wire.

NFL is a horrible product to watch start to finish now. That's not about attention span, it's about the bad football that's played, coupled with the zebra's being horribly inconsistent. Most teams are decent enough when the season starts, but once they start losing players to injury and they are elevating their 55th and 56th best player to the roster, it's pretty bad. Of course, there are people who will disagree.

If your team sucks like the Bears or the Browns, it's hard to get behind watching a full game. I do my full football game watching on Saturday's now, and at the high school level when it gets to the playoffs. The product flows much better to a full watching, unlike the NFL.

So the real question is...anyone have the balls to start him this week?

Not sure you can. I'm out where I own him, but I wouldn't. He doesn't have anybody to throw the ball to. Nobody.

When he does, it's not pretty. Where does he end up next year?

I agree with all of this, well... for the most part.

Some of the NFL product sucks start-to-finish. There are some games that are quality from the initial kick until the final whistle. Unfortunately those games are sparsely sprinkled into the weekend's action.

I absolutely love watching college football on Saturdays. Sunday mornings/early afternoons are spent checking my fantasy scores, having whatever game happens to be on (I do miss Red Zone) and doing things around the house.

I'll usually pay more attention to the Sunday night game, if only because the matchup usually results in a pretty good game.

Monday nights are usually split between my local watering hole for the first half and home, which is kind of a "halfway watching and making sure I'm still winning my matchups".

i think i'm gonna start kaep over mariota this week in my 2-qb league (the other qb being rivers). mariota hasn't played a single tough defense since the bad games he had early in the season. not feeling too confident about it though lol. i just don't see mariota and rishard matthews and tajae sharpe doing a whole lot against talib and harris and roby. walker is the one guy who i think could actually have a solid game here, especially since brandon marshall is out, but still, going with kaep. prime matchup with the jets too.
