Looks about right.  The top scoring team in the league didn't make the playoffs, that's crazy.....and I think it may be the second year in a row?  I remember Monkeys and Pugs were in the top in scoring and neither made it last year.

Wow, I did not even notice Mudskippers was the highest scoring team. Tough break Phil, but you'll be over it come rookie draft.

RATT had a great 1st 1/2 of the season, but just tanked at the end.  Losing Gordon so early in his game didn't help at all this week.

Good luck the rest of the way gents.

I'm not clear on MFL thought process setting up a playoff schedule. Checking the site it has HooNex playing higher remaining seed than Dolphins, despite the fact that all higher seeds won. I would think their functionality would automatically schedule Week 2 with 5/4 in the #1 region and 3/6 in the #2 region, presuming higher seed wins. However, it appears they set up presuming wins by 6 and 5(?!?) - the only way their schedule makes sense.

Under our rules, #1 HooNex is to play the lowest remaining seed (#4 Southern Kryptonite), and #2 is to play the other team (#3 HK Wanderers). I'll adjust the schedule asap.

Not really sure I wanna play against Zeke and Demarco.

Although, not really sure I wanna play against Antonio and Cam, either.

Wanderers was a casualty of my unlikely playoff run last year.  I know you've had a year to stew on that Chris, but I would caution you if you have some grand revenge planned.  The Dolphins are a tough out this time of year, and it really doesn't have anything to do with how much talent is in the lineup...

No grand plan, just happy to be in the mix again, was sure last year was my last one whilst remaining competitive. But who knows. Looking at the line ups, we all have a few interesting ones in the mix.

MFL doesn't have a setting to make sure the highest seed always plays the lowest seed.  You have to manually change it.

Seems weird. I would think that is the standard playoff approach. Being preset for highest seed to play #3 in 2nd week seems like the one way not to preset it. Not that it was difficult to correct or anything, that was easy.

You should list it as a missing feature in the site survey only available to the commissioner.

Thanks,

I was worried I would be taken down on the way to a Dolphins repeat.

Now I get to play Southern Kryptonite for the 3rd time this year.

This is probably going to sound crazy, but I've never made it this far in this league.  LOL.  What exactly are we playing for?  I've looked through the constitution but can't find anything.  Is there a breakdown for 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc?  And next year's draft spot are determined by final results? Or by end of regular season's results?

Jim would have to speak to the exact amounts, but from memory, division winners get $15 apiece.  Dream Bowl runner-up gets another $30.  However much we pay for MFL gets deducted.  Trophy shipping gets deducted, the remainder you get.  Somewhere around $100 after that remaining for the champion, plus the traveling trophy will be shipped to you.

As far as draft order goes, regular season standings determine the order for all teams except the Dream Bowl participants, who get the last two picks in the round.  So at this point you're either picking 11th or 12th next year.

Economics is only part of the picture. Scorn from leaguemates and admiration by women worldwide are the key benefits. Economically, here's what it was for last season:

"The only distribution change from last season is our MFL cost was +$25, so I dropped the $30 to points champ we awarded in 2014 and went +$5 to the Champ purse. I protested this decision as high points scorer, but ultimately deferred to judgment of the commissioner that increasing payout to Champ and runner up take precedence over wish list awards.

$360

$15 Mutiny Dreams Div Champ

$15 Mudskippers Div Champ

$15 The Rhinos Nightmare Div Champ

$17 Trophy shipping

$60 RATT (Runner-up)

$70 MFL (Mutiny)

$168 Champ Remainder"

Nicely done. Way to compensate with the lack of a go-to QB every week.

Great job!  Who said the WR is king in fantasy football these days?  Our champion just rode on the back of a triple option formation...
