they gave him a one-year prove it deal.

Prosise, Rawls and Lacy. The Seattle 3-headed...  no, 4-headed backfield,  I forgot Wilson.  It will be interesting to see if Wilson goes back to relying more on his legs.   Might as well move all three of the backs into the nearly useless category for 2017. Rawls is on the last year of his rookie contract so he comes dirt cheap. Prosise still has to prove himself, but shows promise.  Lacy, you have to assume would be used more like Rawls, so it makes you wonder if Seattle is looking to trade Rawls and has decided that they are done with him after the rookie contract.

Maybe he'll eat better in SEA, no more piles of cheese filled brats and beer :)

I was looking at his career numbers, a lot better than many who think he mostly sucked in his 4 years at GB. Seems like his style as a big pounding back doesn't fit the GB offense, or was he expected to be lean and mean?

The $385,000 weight clause in Eddie Lacy's contract with the Seattle Seahawks is based on him hitting specific benchmarks on seven separate occasions, a league source tells ESPN's Field Yates. For each weigh-in that Lacy reaches his target number, he can make $55,000. The numbers are 255 pounds in May; 250 pounds in June and August; and 245 pounds in September, October, November and December.

Can you believe this lol ...

Can you picture Lacy when he retires?  He'll be sitting on his couch at 315 pounds eating Doritos, Pop Tarts and Fruity Pebbles, washing it all down with butterfinger blizzards from DQ.

Actually hilarious that they have to give him an incentive to hit his weight goals. I'd hit weight goals for 5k not to mention 55k...

Maybe they're just gonna go with the strat of giving it to a back 20 times a game to run it up the middle to tire out the defense in the 4th. Wilson is pretty clutch in those situations.

Eddie Lacy rummage sale postponed to May

Richard Ryman , USA TODAY NETWORK-WisconsinPublished 1:01 p.m. CT April 7, 2017 | Updated 5:43 p.m. CT April 7, 2017

DE PERE – Eddie Lacy's going to own all that stuff he no longer wants for another month.

The former Packers and current Seattle Seahawks running back was out of town and his Friday morning flight back to Green Bay was canceled, making it impossible for him to get back in time for a planned 1 p.m. start to the sale.

Lacy announced the "garage and moving" sale on Twitter and Facebook earlier this week. The plan was for the sale to be 1-6 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday. He Tweeted on Friday morning, however, to say a flight cancellation wouldn't allow him to get back in time. In a later update, he said his new goal is to hold the sale May 5 and 6.

He planned to announce the location of the sale in De Pere on Twitter and Facebook closer to the starting time. At one point, Lacy advised would-be buyers to have reasonable expectations. "Caution...ya won't find any Fine China, Gucci sneaks or flat screens, I'm pretty simple. Just raising a few bucks for a good cause."

Lacy said all money would be given to a charitable organization and unsold items donated to Freedom House in Green Bay. Freedom House provides emergency housing to families, helping them find permanent housing and employment. Freedom House president Robyn Davis was named new president and CEO of Brown County United Way on Thursday.

Seattle signed Lacy as a free agent in March. He played for the Packers from 2013 through 2016.
