Kravchuk
I'm running a 12 team non-keeper H2H-league and trying to figure out how to keep the whole league competative trough the season. This year we gave the winner of the consolation ladder the 13th pick in the draft (snake). For example he could get pick 2, 13 and 24. That gave the end of the season a big kick and all managers we're active the whole season. Is that to much advantage? Also thinking of giving the winner of the consolation bracker 1st and 13th overall (snake draft) so it would be like 1st, 13th, 34th, 35th and so on. 12th place on the draft pick but 1st round pick becomes 1st overall. Any other ideas? How do your league do? We're playing for braging rights so we want the prize to be something in the game.
Lukester2181
We do something very similar in our league. We are a 10 team keeper league (3 Keepers). The first year the team that came in dead last received the first pick in the draft. Obviously we found that teams tanked on purpose to receive that first pick. So now, like your league the consolation bracket means something. The winner of that receives the first pick in the draft, runner up 2nd pick, and so on. We have been doing this now for about 4 years and it has worked out great and the league has stayed competitive even during the playoffs.
