O-Line is a year more experienced, but still grossly inadequate. 2. Brady Quinn mad some freshman mistakes (yes, I know he is a sophomore) like dumping little 3 yard passes on 3rd an long. Not good. He looks very unsure in the pocket and appears to be afraid to throw ints, or has a lack of confidence in his WR. 3. No difference makers at RB or WR. 4. I hope Im wrong but I think ND beats MIchigan this week for the reasons below. 1) Michigan starts a freshman Qb 2) Running game is not were it should be. 3) ND has made this game a must win. And mark my words, last week Michigan had maybe a couple penaltys, this week, The refs will keep this game close. You watch. I unfortunately missed the game, but I was on record with a few people as pointing out that this is a game that ND had NO BUSINESS even being in - despite your valid points 1 and 2, UM so outclassed ND at most other positions that those concerns should have been minor. He's a Biased member of the Sooner Nation, which gets bigger and stronger every day!!!!! I wish ND would join the lil 10 (or 11 whos counting??) north, (USC being in the lil 10 west). Reason being is that the SEC and Big 12 play an extra game each year, a championship game, something the lil 10's know nothing about!!!! so if ND were to join, bingo... 12 teams in the Lil 10 north. Perhaps with a conference look of: east Wisc Penn State Iowa Minn Mich Mich State west OSU NW Purdue Illinois Indiana ND When this happens and OSU beats Mich twice in one year or vice versa... or any team in the conf. for that matter; then the lil 10 north can stand up and have a voice!!!!!!!!!!!
