Sgt. Ryan
USC up 10-0 over this over-rated team. Whats sad is USC can plays its 2nd string vs the rest of their weak ass Wac-10 schedule on route to Miami with a Showdown with the Sooners. OU has to travel through Oski St, KSU and A@M on the road, and host Nebraska before they play Colorado, Missouri or Nebraska again in the Big 12 Championship game. Oh well, OU will be tested once it gets there. Edited October 9, 2004 by Sgt. Ryan

Arrington is running all over USC at the moment. There are 3 teams in the PAC 10 in the top 25. Nothing is easy for the defending NC team. Look at LSU... I don;t think this is the #1 team in the country by a long way.

All you can say is that USC defense is terrible. I wonder what you will say when USC is stepping on OU's neck in the NC game this year. I aint scared of USC, I simply hope they dont lose. Id rather the Sooners get that gift than a team like say Auburn or Miami, who would actually give OU a game for 4 qtrs. USC is over-rated as hell, and the writers should vote on what they see on the field, than stupid BS.

What are you breaking into Greg Davis' personal stash now? The Barn is more one sided of a team than texas was. If you are looking for a game, then hope Miami gets there. USC would give you some trouble as well, because Carrol is one hell of a College coach .... In Bred Aubarn would be a 65-14 victory for OU... Coffeeman
I might have to agree with Ryan for once - USC did not play like the #1 team for the second game in a row. OU may be the better team right now, and I would have no problem if the writers and coaches saw it that way too and had SC #2. And our #1 WR broke his leg - ungood. On the other hand, I disagree about Cal being a fraud - they are *** good, and deserve to stay in the top 10. The only positive is that we have won 3 close ones now, and that is not all luck. USC might go undefeated, and therefore should have our shot in the Orange. That would mean that we had gotten better as the year went on - just like we have the last 3 years under Coach Carroll. Like I've said before, BCS polls (any polls) are total BS before the 5th or 6th game - and now we have some data on which to make our choices. OU is #1 in my book, but USC is still pretty good at #2....

Coffeeman
LOL! I don't forget Ryan - that was a week ago. After the 45-7 thumping of ASU and OU's struggles vs. the unranked KSU THIS WEEK, USC is back in the top spot in my mind. Please try not to confuse the masses with dated material! Its just not fair to those who can't keep up.....
Coffeeman
Let me try a much shorter paparphrase here. Ryan says he knows more about NCAA football than all the best coaches and writers combined, who have USC #1 and OU #2. Simple, isn't it. OK, who believes Ryan is right in this assessment of his talent, raise your hands....
