Perchoutofwater
A&M would beat every WAC10 team with the exception of Cal and SC, and A&M would probably beat one of them. OU and Texas would beat both Cal and USC. I don't have as much faith in OSU (I'm talking about the OSU that is good, Oklahoma State, not Ohio), but they might beat them as well. Coffeeman
USC would get lit up by 3 Big 12 teams 520873 Don't think so, Sarge, but that's just my opinion, in reaction to your opinion. But to try to figure out your logic, let's see: Cal is 2nd best, so OU is best, and USC is apparently somewhere below 2 other Big 12 teams. I assume you mean TX (#8, 9 or 10, depending on the poll) and OSU, (#19, 20, or 21) both of which are 6-1, along with Cal. So I guess in your personal BCS you put the Trojans at between #20 to 22. Unless you think those two are horribly underrated, deserving of a top 10, and therefore USC is maybe #11 - whatever, it doesn't matter for our purposes here. Hmm, USC (#1, 1 or 1, depending on the experts being polled,) beat your #2 Cal with a defense that stopped Cal when it had to, and they have an offense that scored more in the redzone on Cal's stout D when it had to then Cal could, mistakes or not. And the special teams comparison is not even close. And you said yourself that Cal has one of the best offenses you've seen, and should lay waste to the unfortunate Big10 team that Cal will face in the Rose Bowl. I agree on this point. Continuing on... TX got shut out once already, and has given up 20 to both Mizzou (who?!) and Arkansas (puh-leeze). Meanwhile, OSU could only hang a measly 20 on both Mizzou and TXA&M, and gave up 36 to A&M and 21 to Tulsa (who?!) So, how do the Cowboys or Longhorns "light up" the Trojans' tough D, or keep our stellar offense out of the endzone all day? Something doesn't add up, but that's your M.O. I don't know where you went to school, (OU??) but seriously - you should get your money back. Unless...were you hungover when you typed this? OK, that's what happened - so I'll give you a break here. Better luck next time - and you should lay off the bottle - that stuff can kill you.... Edited November 4, 2004 by Coffeeman

IF USC and Cal had Arkansas's schedule they might be lucky if they finished with only two losses!!!!!! Get a clue TOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I see that game something in the neighborhood of 13-0, Texas.

BIG A
I figured this would be posted sooner or later, and my response to it is simple. A@M plays Baylor 10 times, they win 9 of 10 Miami plays North carolina they win 9 of 10 times Fla St plays Maryland they win 9 of 10 times What does this all mean, thats why they play the games. I just hope OU doesnt stumble and they get to play the game vs USC. Then instead of saying what would or could happen, we see what does happen. 527726 I will just add that good teams can win by a landslide while great teams just win. I would place OU and USC into that category. Both do what they have to do. OU is balanced and seemingly unstoppable on offense. Pick your poison. If I were coaching against, I would choose to make White beat me since Peterson is a Oprahing monster. Peterson looks like Eric Dickerson with his upright running style and WILL be the #1 overall pick when he decides to go (Raiders hopefully). USC can score on anyone, and the defense is getting better. As you said Sgt. Ryan, OU only needs to survive to reach the NC game. USC has one more little test with UCLA, but should reach the final. Fury
If you don't think USC's defense is athletic, you're in for a big surprise come Jan. 4. Benson and Young? Here's just a partial list of rbs who have not gained 100 yards on USC since Carroll took over: Cadillac, Sproles, Chris Brown, Steven Jackson, Onterrio Smith, Chris Perry, Julius Jones. Coffeeman
528541 I know this may not be the right forum, but...Raiders really suck this year, AGAIN. But maybe that's your point - you think they'll finish last in the NFL to get the #1 pick. Still, AP going there would not solve all their problems.... A solid running game would do wonders for there passing game. You are right though, that won't shore up the defense. They will need a new coach as well. They will take Aaron Rodgers or Matt Leinart net year. I say build the defense with free agency.
