Caveman_Nick
It is highly unlikely that the teams will switch positions is all three win out. USC finally gets its well deserved NC game, and whoever faces them gets spanked anyways.
theeohiostate
Well, if the North sends a 5-6 team to the championship game and OU struggles while Auburn DEMOLISHES whoever they play in the SEC game, they might gain enough ground to jump over the Sooners. Bit of a stretch, but certainly possible. Heck, considering that the computers are involved, leapfrogging in one poll combined with OU's SOS and/or margin of victory taking a hit while Auburn's skyrockets might do the trick. 543405[/snapback] I have yet to hear a valid arguement of HOW .......Auburn wouldn't jump OU if they win out. EVERY analyst on EVERY channel has repeated the statement. On top of that, EVERY sportswriter has also echoed this opinion. OU has THEE worst D of any top contender, and the D's they would face would stop them in a more dramatic fashion than LSU did in last years asspounding. I also agree, that regardless of who faces USC..........they will lose, I know that Auburn, Cal or Wisconsin would give them i much better game. Wisconsin has the best D in the nation. USC would just roll over OU's D and put up embarrassing numbers. It would serve the BCS to have a team like the before mentioned to play USC just so it would be close.
