Nebraska @ Oklahoma (-30.0)

I think it may be time for Osbourne to quit messing with Nebraska's porn and gambling laws and go back to where he is needed the most. What an embarrasment to the state the self-proclaimed "Powerhouse of the 90's" has become. Baylor has better odds this weekend.

Serious question: has Nebraska ever been 30 point underdogs in the history of the school?

I'm a hugh Oklahoma fan this weekend as K-State wins the North if Nebraska losses to Oklahoma and KSU wins the next two games. :D Go OU!!! :D

When did I predict a Husker win? I just predicted a career day for Dailey, the Sooner defense has created those career days for a few quarterbacks this year.

A "career day" for Daily would be 145 yards, 1 TD, and only 4 INTs. :D I think the Sooners could accomodate that.

Is it straight up? Or Points?

I think the spread is right - if the Huskers score more than 10 points on OU, and OU scores less than 40, I'll be shocked. OU will just outscore them and win in any scenario. But if somehow the lousy Huskers can score something like 25-30 on the Sooners, look out in the Orange - USC will hang 50 on them.....

no offense coffee, but the OU defense is better than the USC defense, and the OU offense would run circles around the USC offense. Special teams with Perkins returning punts vs Bush may be a push, but Ill take the NCAA career record holder in punt returns for TDs which leaves coaching. Stoops vs Carroll, you know where I stand there. There is no way I see USC beating OU. Im not saying it will be a blowout, but Sooners 35, USC 20, looks about right to me. Im trying to be as open minded as I can, but USC will think passing on OU deep is the key to success, the only problem is Perkins will be back there and Leinhart will have problems all day. I think some forget how good this guy is, and its obvious how bad the Sooners miss him in their secondary.

Yeah, I don't think we'd really put 50 on you guys, just like I don't think Huskers can get more than maybe 10, if they're lucky. Just wanted to see what you'd say! But I also think OU getting 35 on us is a stretch too.

All the skill positions are very similar for OU and USC, so I think it'll come down to who executes better on the basics - blocking and tackling, controlling the lines of scrimmage, etc. If we're lucky, your players will underestimate our O-line and D-line, like you have done.

Anyway, should be a really good game. I sincerely hope it happens...

No points given or taken. If I'm gonna bet on my Huskers I'm not gonna take any points. What would be the point in telling Sarge " Yeah the Sooners kicked the Huskers' asses, but not by enough." (Insert Cartman laugh here.)

I honestly think the Huskers have a chance, albeit a very, very, VERY small one. But on any given Saturday, yada yada yada.

Besides if I win, I'll get to find Sarge a nice new Longhorn avatar, or maybe even a Luckeyes one. :D

Just keep on talking. USC would be the best offense that OU has seen in the last 2 years. They are balanced and would keep OU's defense off balance. I am not going to make score predictions, but I see this game very close with SC controlling the clock to keep OUs offense off the field. SC gives up less points per contest that OU. Dont give me that crap about how powerful the Big 12 is either. The big 12 north is embarrassing at best. If OU gets to the NC vs SC it will be a war.
