In one league I'm in 4th place with

D.McNabb

S.Alexander

C.Brown (hurt)

A.Zeuroereua(hopeless)

A.-train(T.Jones is back)

J.Horn(hurt)

J.Smith

R.Smith

E.Johnson

M.Vanderjagt (my kicker can only get extra points)

Baltimore DEF

C.Brown is hurting, A.-train's time is up, J.Horn is hurtin and Vanderjagt can only get Extra Points. I'm scewed with no #2 RB!!

My other league I'm in 1st with

M.Bulger (hurt shoulder)

J.Plummer

P.Holmes (maybe out for year??)

C.Brown (hurting)

T.Jones (hopefully wont be splitting time since he's been HURT!!)

D.Davis

D.Mason

T.Holt (concussion)

R.Smith

R.Williams

J.Wilkins(gets me 4 pts per game)

Philly DEF

I think with Holmes out and my #1 WR hurting, no way in heck will I will win the play-offs. I was looking VERY forward to the last game of the year with P.Holmes against Oakland.

Both leagues I was lucky with hardly any injuries all year. Now my top guns are getting hurt. AGH!! Anyone else having this happening to them??

Keeper League up to 7 keepers (3 years with 4th year if you franchise-only 1 per year )

We were in 1st place but have lost two in a row and now in third and season is on the brink

Brady, Carr, Brees (OK here)

Holmes (out for season?) Tomlinson (hamstring) Dillon, Foster (IR), Blaylock (injured or split with LJ?)

Owens, Holt (concussion), Givens, R Williams (ankle)

We gave up #1 next year for Priest and #3 for Brady. Holt cost us last years #1 and #3.

LT and Priest are FA's next year! It could be now or never!!!

The flip side is some of us are beginning to see some light -- T. Green's finally producing, McCallister might finally be back, Droughns is ready to roll as the man in Denver and Clayton looks great with Griese at the helm. I now actually have a shot at the playoffs. . . . but I've got to win this week.

:D

Given Loaf's RB menu, I'll never complain about my RB situation again.

I hear ya, good thing it's a yahoo free league with a bunch of people I don't know. Just playing for first place though so I'm kinda bummed...

In my local keeper league I was decimated by injuries last season real early on (Pennington, Vick, Faulk, Dillon ect....) So I made moves to get more durable players, Randy Moss being the primary. He hadn't missed a game in his career. Well I was 4-1 going into the week that Randy went down at halftime. I lost that week, and haven't won since, sitting at 4-6 now. It hasn't helped that I've faced either the league high or the 2nd highest score in each of the last 6 weeks (a little unreal but it happens). For the last month and half it seems like everybody simply goes off on me... Pittman's 3 td's... Brees's 5 td's.. Rod Smith's 200 yd day... Gates's 3 td day... it goes on and on. I'd like a little cheese with my whine at this point, but I simply can't replace Moss in my lineup, I'm down almost 15ppg on my total scores, and that's a killer. I've made more trades for next season, my 3 keepers will likely be Moss, McNabb, and Jamal Lewis, along with a top draft pick the way things are going... But after sitting at 4-1, this has been a tough season in my local.

This whole season has been screwed up since the first week for me.

Carr (good but laid and egg last week)

Alexander (hurt a couple of weeks)

Brown (hurt on and off all season)

T. Jones (just getting back)

S. Smith (IR)

Clayton - great all year

Carolina D - (dumped by week 4)

I've won the division four years straight and am now 3-7 and looking foward to next year. Tough season to swallow.

My roster at the beginning of the year included

Holmes

Julius Jones

Todd Heap

Gannon

Pennington

D Davis (was Hurt)

D Staley

In a small league though WW has been able to band aid most problems for me. Still in first place by a landslide in a total points league. :D

In my 12-team league I was 5-1...I am now 6-4 and hanging onto a playoff thread (only 4 teams make it in that league). :D

I was able to draft Holt and Ward in rounds 2 and 3 to be my 2 starting WRs...I thought this would give me a big advantage over most teams, but both of them have been absolutely huge disappointments. Through good drafting of sleeper RBs I was able to trade for Marvin Harrison (another disappointment who I have since traded away), Darrell Jackson (now my #2 WR) and Randy Moss (traded Ward and Shockey for this week) who I am hoping is able to contribute down the stretch.

Has anyone ever seen a year where such a nice group of WRs turned out to be such a collective bust? It's almost unbelievable.

Started off 4-1, lost 4 straight and won last week - now 5-5 and in 7th place

However, a few weeks ago I was able to trade Randy Moss, Mewelde Moore and Donald Driver to a Vikings fanatic for LT2, Javon Walker and Chatman -

Hoping my luck starts to change

Quite frankly, my last 5 weeks have been dreadful and it's had nothing to do with injuries. In my redraft league if you're scoring 80 - 90 points a week you're usually doing very nicely and I'm averaging 88. I averaged about the same in winning our championship last year. Well, I was 4-1, but thanks to 5 straight losses I'm now 4-6. I owe my new found place in 3rd in my division to the fact that I've had an amazing 650 pts scored against me in 5 games(130/game). The FF gods are certainly not smilling upon.

In two leagues, I started 5-0 and 5-1. I was by far the highest scoring team in both leagues. Now I'm still the highest scoring team by far in both leagues, but I'm 5-5 in each. Don't ask me how it happened--I don't want to think about it!!

:D:DB):D
