ts Posted November 20, 2004 Share Posted November 20, 2004 • 20NOV04 Durham Herald on Jake Delhomme reports: Panthers QB Jake Delhomme is optimistic that he'll be able to play Sunday against Arizona. • 20NOV04 Gaston Gazette on Jake Delhomme: Although QB Delhomme threw passes on Thursday, he did not work out on Friday. However, Delhomme is expected to test out his broken right thumb again during Saturday's walk-through practice and the team is cautiously optimistic he'll be ready to play against the Cardinals. Delhomme suffered a hairline fracture to his right (throwing) thumb in last Sunday's 37-27 win over the 49ers. He has not taken any snaps in team drills this week. Officially, Delhomme remains listed as questionable on the team's injury report. "He's day-to-day and he'll take snaps tomorrow," coach John Fox said. "I'm still optimistic."
