myhousekey
So in this game we had: 1. A Texas missed extra point 2. An A&M extra point that was blocked 3. With about 10 seconds to play before halftime Texas fumbles the ball at the goalline and the Aggies pick it up and run 99 yards for a td. 4. Texas blocks an Aggie punt for a td 5. The ensuing extra point is botched but somehow turns into a 1 point safety for Texas. 6. A roughing the passer call on A&M when the Texas running back was trying to throw a halfback pass. Crazy. I still haven't gotten a good explanation on #5. Even the announcers couldn't explain it. Late in the game they flashed some rules on the screen that stated you could get a 1 point safety during a 2 pt conversion try but nothing about the safety during an extra point attempt. Anyone know the full rules behind that?
GWPFFL BrianW
According to the sarge school of football, hte Aggies beat themselves, therefore 9 times outta 10 A & M woulda beat texas. Or is it... ahh I'm lost with all the excuses sarge comes up with.
polksalet
Next year will begin a new reignof dominance over the libs of Austin. You could see it beginning yesterday as the Ags clearly have as much or more talent at the skill positions than the sips. The difference in favor of sips is their clear dominance on both lines. The ags have dencnt lines but the sips are incredible. Next year the sips line will be depleted, and benson will be gone. The sips shoud be very, very afraid of the immediate future. Fran is the man. myhousekey
Mack definitely looked allot more stressed during that game then Fran did. Granted he had a lot more riding on the game (a possible BCS bid). I agree with Polk though. Next year is when it all comes together. This year was supposed to be the last "rebuilding" year for the Ags and it turned out much better then expected. Can't complain, it was all gravy. theeohiostate
This idiot cant count to 5. I was the 5th post here. Cher was the 2nd post here. Someone else was referring to a Big 12 game, and this douchebag has to add his .02 and refer to me in the process. Its amazing how one idiot stalks me and the other is so ignorant he cant count to 5, and somehow missed that Cher was post #2, but thought that was I. Amazing. 577371[/snapback] Hey IDIOT, no need to count if you can understand English, of the 2 of you!! you were the 2nd to post, can't you even understand this simple point? GWPFFL BrianW
So in other words Sarge, Oklahoma shoulda never gone to the Rose Bowl 2 years ago with their 2 losses? Is that what you're saying?
