Donutrun Jellies
Hey, the playoff system is working great in division I AA ... great excitement here in the first quarter of the NH/GSU game ... The title is all up to the players -- no computers, no voting, no politics ... just players. Gotta love it!! And why doesn't this translate from IAA to I? Cash and control. That's it -- because at I, it's not about the players, it's about the cash and the control. Tooo bad.
Donutrun Jellies
Fantastic game on ESPN2 ... 27-21 after a NH comeback ... now 3:40ish left and GSU has the ball, down by 6 .... Just think if this was Oklahoma earning it on the field against Louisville for the right to go to the semifinals of the national championship tournament ... That would be AWESOME!!! Tooooo bad Division I is not focused on the game anymore.
Donutrun Jellies
Whew. What a great game yesterday ... It was nice to see NH roar back, take the lead, and hold on. Was partially rooting for Georgia Southern since we have a fastpitch softball connection there, but the homerism of having a bride who did her graduate analytical chemistry work at UNH kept us cheering on the underdogs(cats). Great game.
untateve
I didn't see the game. However, my wife earned her BS in occuaptional therapy at UNH. Go Wildcats!
Chief Dick
My alma mater, Pittsburg State, advanced yesterday to the Division II Semifinals. Home game next week to advance to the national championship game. I agree--the playoff system for the other divisions is great.
