Fury
11 games Points allowed in the second half: 42 Points allowed in the fourth quarter: 10 That's right, 10 points in 11 games. USC just gets better and better as the game goes on. Sort of the reverse of how Oklahoma plays its seasons.
gilthorp
And OU will score more points on USC in the 4th qtr than they have given up all year in a Sooner Victory for the National Championship. USC plays patsies every week. Notre dame isnt even ranked and Leinhart is given the Heisman for throwing short passes the skill players took to the house against an unranked team. Amazing. USC on defense will get exposed come Jan, and on offense they will be hit in the mouth for 4 qtrs, not just the first 2 drives of the 1st half. Count on that. 583108 You forgot to add IMO....or even IMHO.... Reasonable speculation at this point, but speculation all the same. I'll wait until the games are announced.....I've seen weird things happen this year.
GWPFFL BrianW
Notre Dame is a patsie, but Baylor ownz!

GWPFFL BrianW
And those top 25 teams you beat on the road both suck. How is beating A & M any big deal when Utah and Baylor both did it? And Oklahoma State sucks. Over ranked, and over hyped, it'll get proven in the bowls. And USC will prove that Oklahoma wasn't as deserving as Auburn in the Orange Bowl. BIG A
OU beat 5 teams with a better record than Notre Dame and Colorado this Saturday will make 6. Besides isnt Notre dames pass defense like 105 in the country. And Leinhart is given credit for carving that secondary up. OU beat 2 top 25 teams back to back on the road and 3 total. USC and Auburn didnt do either. USC got its 2 biggest games at home vs Cal and Arz St, and Va Tech on a neutral field. Auburn got its 2 biggest games at home with LSU and GA. Debating these facts with Haters is basically insane. These guys teams are going to the Alamo bowl and the Capital One bowl. Woo Hoo. Go Big 10. BTW, if I thought/hoped OU would win Id say imo, but I know they will win, so I didnt see it necessary to say, IMO. 583218 Didn't OU get Texas on a neutral field? You dont have a point when talking about Leinart deserving the Heisman. Look at the patsies White has carved up. Take those OU colored glasses off and enjoy Leinart's dominance. I would like to see White perform without any receivers.

Nobody else matters. Personally, I think Cal and VaTech are better than TX and OSU, respectively - and so do most voters. For other non-conf games, USC beat ND, BYU and ColoState - while OU beat..umm, somebody, I guess. Meanwhile, Auburn beat UGA & LSU at home - Tenn sucks. Their non-conf. schedule was full of Louisiana-hyphen teams. All pretty even if you ask me, with a slight nod of SOS going to USC - but that's just IMHO! BTW, which team is most likely to add a decent team like Boise St. or UT to their non-conf schedule? If I had to bet, it would be USC - its just their style... Now, none of this "proves" that USC is actually better than either Auburn or OU. If you believe it does, you're using faulty logic. The same logic that said USC didn't deserve 1/2 the NC last year - NO ONE really knows, now do they?? That will be determined on the field. Too bad one of the 3 won't be there.... BIG A
I think everyone forgets that using logic on this board is useless since Sarge will say anything to defend his beloved Sooners and piss people off.
BIG A
If you call a Neutral Field In Dallas Texas, Neutral. yeah 583508 Aren't there quite a few OU fans in Texas? Seems they are killing everyone for Texas high school talent.
BIG A
USC vs OU we are going to get to see. 583522 This is going to be a great game. A turnover could be the difference.
Fury
Why not call a field in Dallas, Tex., neutral? You call a field in Maryland neutral for Virginia Tech.
Fury
Well, Dallas is only about 80 miles farther away from Austin than Blacksburg is from Landover. I guess the limit for a site to be considered homefield must cut off somewhere between 195-275 miles.

Va Tech does not play in Maryland, that would be Maryland. Hell, Its not even in the same state, how could it be a home game for Va Tech. I dont get this logic. It was the Kickoff Classic, isnt that at Fed-Ex field every yr. Edited December 1, 2004 by Sgt. Ryan
Coffeeman
Great - now we can argue basic geography too....
Fury
Right, so San Francisco would be a home game for USC. They're in the same state, after all. Logic and Sarge don't go together.
