zeeman
Games Thurs. Clemson @ Fla St. Fla St-14 The line for the week started at -16. I think Florida St. will win the game, but Clemson had a week off to prepare. Clemson is a decent team (A lot better than Louisvile with rain) I am staying away.(The battle of the Bowdens, I think the son may have learned a few tricks from dad) Fri CO St. @ Fresno St. CSU -6 Colo. St on TV again! Good for recruiting. This game could go either way. Fresno St. is a decent team at home facing a good CSU team that has a balanced attack. CSU is playing their second game in a row on the road. I would lean towards Fresno at home with the 6 pts, but I can't bet against a home state team. Pure Power games Sat. Games Texas Tech @ Texas A&M A&M -6.5 Texas A&M is coming off a loss at home 13-3 vs VA Tech and a win at home vs LA Tech. Texas Tech is coming off a win @NM. Texas Tech can move the ball and should put up at least 20. VA Tech has a decent DEf, but if A&M can only put up 3 at home vs. VA Tech, can they put up 19 against Tech and Kingsbury? Maybe, maybe not. I like Tech and the points. I know A&M has a great home record. Offensively, I don't think they can keep up. Georgia @ Alabama ALA -3.5. (This also one of Bob Cunninghams picks and the only one I like) I have watched both teams twice. Georgia barely beat a good Clemson team at home and squeaked one from S.Carolina. I think Georgia is a top 25 team, but no where near #6. At least Georgia has settled on one QB, due to the QB injury. Alabama just demolished a good Ark. team away, and had all the signs to beat Oklahoma in Norman, but couldn't close the deal. The Alabama team seems to have jelled with the NCAA probations and at home, and the team seems to have taken the us against the world attitude. I like the Tide, but only $5-10 bucks. Let Down bets: None that I see! If the Louisvile Cardinals were playing this week, I would definately bet against them. They are probably getting full of themselves by watching their win against Fla ST on ESPN classic (shown within a week.) Good thing they have a week off to enjoy it. East Coast teams playing on the West coast? None that I see. North Carolina Tar Heels are 8.5 pt dogs at Arizona St.(If the game were a pickem, I would take ASU easily, but not with 8.5 points) Let me know if you see any favorable matchups! ----------------------------------------- Disclaimer-I am by no means a professional prognosticator and will take no responsibility for any wins/losses. You can give me all the crap u want about losses, just don't sue me!
Rooks
We'll see if my record continues with college games. One at a time. First one, don't stay away from Florida State. At home and a dry game means a big win!
Rooks
PS His disclaimer goes for me too. Just having fun. I'm just lucky to be doing pretty well. I also love a little Tenn this week!
Guest TNtitan
you are a crack smoker! trust me i am the biggest vols fan on thehuddle and i will be sitting in neyland stadium saturday night but these are not the vols of old. these guys would mess up a wet dream! they were down 14-0 @ home vs rutgers!! and that was suppose to be their big bounce back game after the rain soaked fla loss. dont kid yourselves, they are not #11 in the country good. and i wouldnt doubt if they lose 4 SEC games this year with 2-3 of them this month. but of course beat miami so they can spout off about how they should be considered for the national championship! just speakin the truth! Rooks
1 for 1. I am also likeing a little Miami. I am going to play points. I am up 100 points after Florida St. Anyone else is welcome to post points and play. I am putting all 100 points on Tenn at the closing line. (It's coming down so don't do it early) Since I don't get on durring the weekend I am going to put 150 points on Miami if I win. The goal by the way is 10,000 points. zeeman
I'd listen to Titan. I bet Tenn over Fla a couple weeks ago. He seems to know Tenn. Arkansas is a decent team, and anything can happen with a few turnovers. I just look up some stats (Arkansas is 18-9 against the spread as an underdog) Odds are they could cover
Steeltown Dre
I also bet Tenn last weekend and came up lame. I only bet on one game this weekend - Oklahoma. Why play "points" when you can lose your own money???

myhousekey
Only A&M could miss 2 extra points to cost them the game....unf'nbelievable.

zeeman
Some great games Tenn pull it out over Ark in 6 OT's. Titan, I am sure you got your moneys worth of butt clenching excitement. Polksalet you have a good team, but what the hell is" GIGEMGIGEMGIGEMGIGEMGIGEMGIGEMGIGEMGIGEMGIGEMGIGEM" I tossed 5 at Ark to cover, so I would watch the game. Rooks, I hope you stayed away. Texas Tech beating A&M in OT. I didn't watch the game and I pretty much wrote it off as a bad pick. How the hell did Tech come back in the 4th. Sorry about your loss myhousekey. I never expected a shootout. Georgia over Bama, maybe I underestimated Georgia. I know Bama is a top 15 team, I just didn't think Georgia was. I thought Georgia dominated the majority of the game. Rooks
Stayed away from Tenn, but closed my 3 game parley on Miami. Thought it was the call of the year at half time.
