Kansas State 2000
Do not take Notre Dame, USC is the team that deserves the BCS bid not a very average team in ND. Iowa and Georgia are no-brainers, Florida State does not deserve it but they have to take them I believe. Kansas State is hot and a game vs. Oklahoma would be the real Big 12 Championship game. Fiesta - Miami vs. Ohio State Orange - Oklahoma vs. Kansas State Sugar - Georgia vs. Florida State Rose - Iowa vs. USC
PatrickL
I've read on at least 2 sites (cnnsi and cbs sportsline) that the BCS COULD very well take ND and USC, leaving Iowa out. That'd be nuts, sending Iowa to the Citrus (capital 1) bowl.
justin
Well with USC as #4 in the BCS - it's almost definite that they will be in. So you've got as definites: OSU, FSU, Miami and USC. Then you have either OU or CU from the Big 12. And from the SEC it's likely that it's UGA. If Wash. St. wins against UCLA they are in. And if Wash. St. wins there is really room for only one at large. It would be total crap if ND gets a bid, but crazier $.hit has happened. I personally think it should come down to KSU or IOWA and I would likely choose IOWA to play in the Rose. Fiesta - OSU v. Miami Rose - Iowa v. Wash. St. OR USC Sugar - FSU or KSU v. OU/CU Orange - UGA v. USC or FSU Again - it's still to early to tell and it will definitely come down to some upcoming games.
justin
The BCS held a conference call today (Tuesday) and afterwards the Big Ten conference announced that IOWA will be receiving a bid and will likely be playing in the Rose Bowl. Notre Dame will NOT be receiving a BCS at-large bid if WSU beats UCLA and MIA beats VT becasue due to the fact that USC is in the top 4, USC will receive the second at-large bid. If WSU looses to UCLA, than one at-large bid is available. I expect KSU to get the final at-large bid if WSU loses.
