USC vs. Iowa, Orange Bowl: Two teams playing out of their element in a heck of a Rose Bowl. Boise State vs. Iowa State, Humanitarian: Just for the offensive possibilities. The Broncos lead the country and are playing at home. Iowa State scored more than 30 in eight of its 13 games. Bet the over. Marshall vs. Louisville, GMAC: Two quarterbacks (Byron Leftwich-Dave Ragone) who will next meet on Sundays. West Virginia vs. Virginia, Continental Tire Bowl: Plenty of young talent. A preview of the 2005 Orange Bowl. Five least interesting bowl games North Texas vs. Cincinnati, New Orleans: Last year, North Texas came to this bowl with a losing record. This year, the winner gets to the magical eight-victory mark. Something to keep the locals interested until the Sugar Bowl kicks off. Nebraska vs. Mississippi, Independence: Not even the Husker fans care, judging by ticket sales. Frank Solich has re-assigned himself as defensive coordinator for the game. Turner Gill gets a tryout as offensive coordinator. Oregon vs. Wake Forest, Seattle Bowl: The bowl barely made the NCAA deadline to exist. The teams are a combined four games over .500. Yawn. Toledo vs. Boston College, Motor City: Ah, Christmas in Detroit. Arizona State vs. Kansas State, Holiday: The Wildcats will roll in the biggest mismatch of the bowl season.
