sacosud Posted August 11, 2003 Share Posted August 11, 2003 According to 1460 the fan here in Columbus Maurice Clarrett met with NCAA officals and Andy Geiger "AD" for Ohio State...the meeting has been rumored to be very favorable for OHIO STATE according to a inside source everyone is going to be happy with the results by the way Jim Brown was with Clarrett in this meeting. The rumor is Clarett will miss 2 games but then will be cleared to play.There as been no offical word out but If you are A Buckeye fan gotta be happy. I personally love Ohio State but Clarrett was/is getting to the point of no return for me this is it LAST CHANCE!!! Chris Spielman was quoted as saying "NO PLAYER IS BIGGER THAN UNIVERSITY OR THE TEAM. "THE TEAM" has to be getting tired of Clarrett's look at me I get no respect card. They could gaurantee me he would get 2000 yds and I would still rather see Hall and Ross in the backfield. Either is a more than an adequate replacement behind that offensive line. If Clarinet doesn't cause some serious sanctions I will be surprised, can you say Auburn. How do you recruit with no TV time and no bowl games. Okay off of my soap box now. Go Bucks!!!
