Perchoutofwater
My beloved University of Texas has extended Mack Browns contract to 2014, virtually eliminating any chances of a Big 12 Championship for the next ten years. It is said that OU fans were rejoicing in the streets at this news, while people in Austin were drowning their sorrows on 6th street. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/bowls04/news/story?id=1955244

Perchoutofwater
He got a big win, but he is a horrible coach. He might be the greatest recruiter of the modern era, but he couldn't coach his way out of a wet paper bag. Last year 10 other coaches would have taken Texas to the title game. Not only does he choke, he is horrible when it comes to discipline, just look at the special teams play today, and Young still isn't protecting the ball when he is running, we were lucky he didn't have a few fumbles, like he has in the past. GWPFFL BrianW
But at least, he finally won a big game. As far as Oklahoma goes, its all psychological. Oklahoma goes in there playing to win, Texas goes in there playing not to lose. It's that simple as far as that rivalry goes.

GWPFFL BrianW
Typical of Sarge, tearing down any other team other than Oklahoma. It is big, like it or not. I guarantee the Texas players see it as big. They couldn't care less about Oklahoma right now. They won the grand daddy.

Then it's OPEN SEASON 'cause he'll be gone
