theeohiostate
:bigshock: I knew they had no defense BUT ..........28-0 against Tenn . I think every team in the SEC was able to score against this D. The Aggies put up 28 points against OU..........BY HALFTIME!!!! USC must be getting very excited to expose this defense of OU. LiL10(s)ArEaJoKe
Is it just me or do several teams look out right unprepared for their respective bowl games??? Cal looked awful vs Tech....I would have been willin to take Cal and give around 13 pts, Would have thought no way Tenn holds McNeil down, but figured it would be close, OKie state will probaly be happy to rid Stillwater of Les Miles, welcome to LSU....Les we dont put up with unprepardness!!!!!! How in the world can schools like Cal, AM, and OSU not show up??? Oh yeah lets not forget Fla they also looked so-so vs arch rival Miami.... I think the up to 5 1\2 week breaks some of these teams incur is way toooooooooo long. Why not put a playoff system in during this time frame???? Most of the kids are out of class anyway due to Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks.
spain
The Vols absolutely mauled the Aggies, and did so with Rick Claussen at the helm. Mind you, Claussen is Tennessee's 4th string quarterback. When Eric Ainge(Danny's newphew), and Brent Shaffer went down they were left with only Claussen. The 3rd string qb, CJ Leak(Florida Gator QB Chris Leak's older brother)asked to be moved to defense when he saw that the freshmen qb's were going to beat him out as the starter. So, we were left with casey Claussens little brother. Impressive win for Tennessee to say the least. And next year, we have everyone back, plus UT wont be starting true freshmen at qb to begin the year..
detlef
That was a glorious, glorious ass-whooping for the ages. Go freaking Vols. Maybe Polk can find an Aggie thread to go along with the Cal one he posted.
polksalet
The whipping realy doesnt bother me. This bunch has overachieved all year and I am amazed they made it this year with such a young squad. Next year will be our year, I think we lose two on offense and one or two on d and have a whole lot of depth from redshirting. Slocum left our crew in shambles and Fran is patching it together very quickly.

Your brethern over on that site dont impress me too much. What a paranoid bunch of uptight ass holes. Bammer Bob has their panties all bunched up over his Fran comments. And half of them are paranoid that it a Longhorn fan in crimson Tide disguise. Who cares? That is funny stuff..

They will be giving Texas and OU a run for their money. Scrotum killed that program, and Fran is resurrecting it. As a Longhorn fan, they scare me next year, particularly since Benson will be leaving.

theeohiostate
OU performance does dampen the GREAT performance put up by the Vols a little, but it was such a dominating outing, it's hard to argue that point to well.
spain
The scary part is that Tennessee has 18 of 21 starters back next year!!
