BIG A
Unbelievable last play to beat LSU. Best game of the day by far. Another big win for the Big 10!
GWPFFL BrianW
Michigan can win and pull out a winning bowl record, otherwise we're .500 Too bad Purdue and Wisconsin both laid an egg. My adreniline is still pumping right now.

Pudue gives up a TD drive 31 second TD drive with :43 left on the clock. Very good showing by the Big 10 against some tough conferences. If the BIG BLUE can get a W, it will be an excellent bowl season and dispatch the notion of the league having a down year.
GWPFFL BrianW
I would argue we are having a down year, but even in a down year, we're not "weak" as some here have suggested. If Michigan wins we'll end up with 2 teams in the Top 10 more than likely. Depending on how far the pollsters move Michigan up. But a win over ALMIGHTY Texas should go pretty far. How many times has a team went undefeated in Big 10 play versus other conferences? I assure you.........much less.

The 6 teams that were bowl eligible were very worthy of being in these games, and even teams like Northwestern and Michigan State (with Stanton) are capable of playing good games on any given day. Minnesota got a good matchup, because Alabama really has been lame on offense all year, especially after their starting QB went down for the year. Purdue got sucker punched by their blitzes yesterday. Iowa controlled the game and barely hung on...should have won easily, but lucked out nonetheless. Wisconsin was pretty much taken out of their game by a very fast Georgia D, and without a strong running game, they aren't as balanced as they need to be. Ohio State flat out stung OSU and was the clear dominant performance, and that's scary without their playmaking QB in there. The Michigan game is just kicking off, but they've had a difficult time with tough defenses this year, and they'll need to play their best game to put up 21 points. I would love to see the Big 10 finish strong--but I'm thinking Texas squeezes one out here.

It works both ways, douchebag. Big 10 wins are over at 3.

Michigan is in control. 638822 And Ga was in control of wisconsin the whole game as well, so whats your point. Why is everything such a double standard with you Oprahers. Cal came out flat, but Okie St just sux. Iowa was in control of the whole game, and so was Wisconsin, but that is brought up. Fact is with less than a minute remaining Iowa was down, and it took a hail mary to beat them, hardly the case with Ga vs wisconsin. BTW, I beg to differ Michigan is in control of this game either. theeohiostate
50 + yd pass as time expired is a hail Mary. If he drops the ball, there may be 3 second left on the clock, for one more Hail Mary. 639064 Guess you weren't watching the game.........and as usual your facts are WRONG. There was NO hail mary.
GWPFFL BrianW
I don't know what the rule is, but last I checked if there is a penalty the clock is supposed to stop. In which case there woulda been at least 13 seconds left. The clock started running before the snap. Even if Holloway was tackled, Iowa still could have lined up for the fg anyway. As it was, it was a fantastic finish, to a fantastic game. Iowa won, fair and square, played a great game. LSU played a great game too. Two great defenses. Lots of hard hitting. It was a great football game from start to finish. Credit to LSU for making the late comeback, being down by 12 wiht 8 minutes to play, and credit Iowa for showing resilliancy (sp?). theeohiostate
Iowa got lucky they were playing a team with a lame duck coach or LSU wins by 20. That distraction alone killed them for 3 qtrs. The 4th Qtr, LSU tore Iowa a new one, that would have been all day if Sabans head wasnt already in Miami. Iowa would have got killed by Texas or Michigan yesterday. And got a huge break playing LSU because of its lame duck coach. You can spin it any way you want, but that there is a fact. And that game was boring as *** for 3 qtrs, and was only good when LSU took over the game, before giving up the fluke hail mary. The texas and Michigan game was exciting, the Capital One bowl was a joke until the final 8 minutes. Neither of those teams deserve to be in the top 10, Boise St or Lousiville would have tore both of them a new ass. 639428 Nice insight Do all MORANS share this narrow minded view? spain
Hail Mary?? Did you even watch the game, there WAS NO HAIL MARY!!!! 638856 I watched the game, and yes it was a hail mary. Iowa was behind with about 10 seconds play and were throwing the ball deep. The fact that he didnt catch it in the endzone doesnt negate the fact that it was a hail mary, an answered prayer.. You're in the minority, as usual, and further more you suck. It's a boring game, its this, its that. You make excuses for LSU the same way you make them about how PATHETIC last years Oklahoma melt down was. Sarge, please, be smart for once.
