will play oklahoma for the national championship. it's just that simple. no other games matter for the rest of the year except to see who wins their conferences and gets paid in the other BS bowls. can we get a freakin' playoff please! my prediction, va tach vs the sooners in the sugar.

ps. florida state sux! most overrated team in college football, year in, year out!

Approx. half way through the season and making predictions about the Sugar Bowl??....Way too much football still to be played......

Here's a prediction....more than likely, there will not be any undefeated team left at the end of the year.....who's to say??? But go DAWGS!!! Just in case !!!

The best thing for all of us would be for all the top 10 teams to have one loss, so that the BCS would be exposed as the fraud that it is and we could get more intense talk about a playoff.

What's wrong with an 8-team or 16-team playoff that begins with the minor bowls, goes to the major bowls for semi-finals, and ends in mid-January with an undisputed championship game? NOTHING! No other argument against it makes sense except the $$$ - the bowl guys like the fans that roll in a week early and drop all that money in their towns, and the conference chiefs like all the perks/kickbacks that come with the big money bowls.

With a playoff, those diehard fans could be travelling for 3-4 weeks, and would have to spread the $ around more. The logisitics could easily be worked out, but the $$$ rules. Some big brain needs to figure a way to make the money still flow to induce these fat cats to do it. "Follow the money"...this is America....
