I bet Birdine feels like the biggest idiot of ALL TIME after calling Leinert overrated. This ALMOST makes me feel better about teh drubbing Carson Palmer handed my Hawkeyes in the Orange Bowl two years ago. Cuz you know, Oklahoma had this great wonderful defense and all. An embarrassing performance. Oklahoma didn't even deserve to share the same STATE as USC, let alone field. I hope Sarge welches on his promise, cuz I'd like to see him start shoveling more big 12 crap down my throat like he said, cuz that would mean all he has to show for is Texas' big win over Michigan! Oh yeah thats right, because Oklahoma looked like the #2 team on Paper at the beginning of the season, played a overblown schedule, and went undefeated. No chance at all to lose that #2 spot. I think this should also help people understand that conference strength is not the main factor to decide which team is better. Yes its important, but its not everything. The best team in the country can come from a weak conference - please see USC for the last 2-3 years. PAc-10 sucks, USC hasn't played anybody, blah, blah, blah - that DOESN'T mean they won't punch your favorite team in the mouth and drag them all over town!
