Lula
Don't know. They keep doing it.
Kansas State 2000
They did, Purdue gave them a TD and missed 2 FG's one that was only from 28 yards.
go-time
1 is luck, 2's a coincidence, 3's a trend, 20+ over 2 years just might have something to do with ability and will power. KS2K...you forgot to mention the pass int. call in end zone that would've given the Bucks 1st and goal at 1 had the refs not blown it. There are always "coulda, woulda, shoulda" after every game (on both sides). Bottom line is a W is a W. Next up "That team up North." Kansas State 2000
No one can question if Ohio State is winning, how they win really doesn't matter as long as they do. However, Ohio State will lose next week to Michigan and all this will mean nothing.

If they can't put tteams away they weill stop winning at the end. depnding on defense will backfire against better teams.
yellowdog
I've never hated a team more than I do Ohio State right now! I love about 50 miles south of Columbus, and I am very tired of Ohio State, their fans, and the Columbus media. ABC goes to bonus coverage of FSU and NC State in overtime, and the Columbus affiliate goes to "Buckeye Fever". wall_bas wall_bas wall_bas Go Wolverines! sacosud
I'll worry about next week..next week..OHIO STATE vs. Michigan is always a event and OHIO STATE will be ready as will Michigan..This is "THE GAME" both teams always play their hearts out!!!! not because of what the nation sees as a game with BCS implications..I just want to beat MICHIGAN because it is MICHIGAN..and it means a outright BIG TEN Championship for the winner..everything else will work itself out...Someone please give THIS COACH SOME PROPS..Tressel knows what he is doing and is so so so much a blessing over COOPER..COOPER would have pee stains in a game like this. go-time
Yellowdog...it comes with the territory. Your choices are: 1) Buy a satelite dish; 2) Pack your trash and move someplace that doesn't have a major college in the media market; 3) Hope by some miracle the media changes by itself; 4) Learn to love the Buckeyes. SaintsFanUnfortunately
Well coming from a neutral party down here in Houston Texas, I have never seen a team win so many close ugly games like Ohio State. It is like fate is on their sides, it almost looks like Purdue played for the tie when all they had to do was score a TD from the 25. After shredding OSU in regulation via air, they started running the ball after OSU settled for a FG. Unbelievable, no killer instinct, but I would expect that from a boilermaker. I hope Michigan takes OSU to the woodshed where they belong!

Gonkis
I don't see THAT OSU team competing with UofM on either side of the ball. 'Course I said that last year also. Go Blue. I can't stand another 365 days of OSU bragging. Wolverine living in C-Town.
