Kansas State 2000
While the Ohio State vs. Michigan game is the biggest this weekend, let's not forget the other BIG games this weekend. There are some good chances for upsets and conference championships are up for grabs. #1 Oklahoma Texas Tech UCLA #2 Southern California #3 Louisiana State #15 Mississippi #8 Washington State Washington #10 Texas Christian Southern Mississippi #17 Iowa Wisconsin Missouri #19 Kansas State Alabama Auburn Oregon State Oregon
davearm
KSU2000 -- Good post, lots of good old fashioned rivalry games this weekend. With the exception of TxTech, I like *all* the home teams' chances (assuming you got the listings right wink ), including Michigan. The main reason I side with Michigan is that they're better equipped to play from behind if necessary (just ask the Gophers). OSU on the other hand will be done if they get behind by two scores. That is to say, UM can win playing from ahead or from behind, whereas OSU's only shot is to get out front early, or at least keep it close throughout. Personally I'm hoping it's tied late, to see if OSU can "find a way" yet again.
GOB1
I agree there are some other great games on this weekend, but I think the big 12 and sec big games are in a couple of weeks when they play for conference champs. Big rivals,no doubt. I hope some day the big ten and pac 10 have conference championship games. Maybe the irish will join the bigten. The K-State/Mizzo game is for the BIG 12 North championship.
