How many people here "that hate OSU or totally disrespect them" picked them to win last year against MIA? I know I did and they won me quite a bit of money too I refuse to get caught up in all that big 12 vs. lil 10 and OSU bashing, just curious how many of you all picked them last year? I figure it will all play out on the field as it always does. To answer your question, yes but not a straight up bet. I won a huge Bowl pool at work in which you earn varying numbers of points for picking winners because I picked OSU to win. Being in Florida, I knew everyone would go with Miami. I figured OSU had a decent shot at pulling it off and we get extra points for correctly picking underdogs. I was in 5th place but the big points from that game put me over the top because everyone ahead of me picked Miami. I guess that's what gambling is all about. It was a nice little payday. To play a favored Florida State team and shut them out ( the offense at least). And OU's def is better this year?????? I don't think so... It's just that you Ohio St. homers are like a horrible car accident on the interstate....you know you shouldn't slow down and look, but you just can't help yourself.
