Trojanmojo
I don't have a real problem with the split title. It's not like it hasn't happened before and when it has, I think both teams were really deserving. I think we had a great team this year and deserve it but LSU was fantastic also and my hat goes off to them. They'd be tough to beat. Congrats to LSU and their fans. cool_thu
Coffeeman
USC and LSU fans unite in song - "We are the Champions, we are the champions..." Congratulations to all the people involved for both teams!! Both teams will wear rings that say "National Champions" and they'll be telling that story to their kids and grandkids, so who cares if twice as many young men get to say the same thing this year? I thinks its great - these guys all deserve it and we should not diminish their accomplishments by trying to say who's better. Too bad the best two teams didn't get to play each other this year, which should've been obvious on Dec 6. But hopefully the BCS will get fixed so this problem doesn't happen again. I also have faith that these two will play each other for next year's big game. Book your plans now.... cool_thu
Kansas State 2000
Looking over the final standings the Big 10 seems to be the better conference this year. myhousekey
Kansas State 2000: Looking over the final standings the Big 10 seems to be the better conference this year. And so it starts all over again ... cool_thu I'll agree that the Big 10 was probably a better conference this year but those bowl records (2-6 Big 12, 3-5 Big 10) are certainly nothing to brag about for either conference. It would be awesome if they could have a Big 12/Big 10 tourny like in basketball. Go Buckeyes!
untateve
I'll have to put my vote in for the SEC as the premiere conference. 5 ranked teams including the Co-National Champion and a 5-2 record in bowl games.
URLACHERisGOD
Sooner homer here but, I don't think there will be any competing with the ACC next year as far as conference strength goes frown
