davearm
Well the local buzz here in Madison is that our current defensive coordinator is on the verge of leaving to join his pal Bill Callahan at Nebraska. Which leads me to wonder... would a de facto trade, with Pelini becoming the Badgers' new DC, be of mutual interest to Alvarez and Pelini? I know Pelini's got an offer on the table to join Stoops' staff, albeit presumably in some capacity short of being full-fledged DC. Would running the defensive show here for Wisconsin, and also getting a foot in the door as a potential successor to Alvarez, trump the Sooners' gig? (All we'd ask is that he lose that dorky cap he wore on the sidelines at the Alamo Bowl.)
Sgt. Ryan
Pelini is good friends with the Stoops brothers and he may get a fancy title in Norman as well.
