slimshim
Here are the props that I like thus far.... I like the following.... Total field goals over 3.5 longest field goal over 43.5 yards Special teams of defensive TD? Yes +150 Tom Brady total passing TD over 1.5 Westbrook pass receptions over 5.5 Will Corey D. score a TD? Yes That's it for now. Do you agree? Any others you like? Slim
darin3
I like some of those. Not too sure about the defensive/ST TD though. Here's some I'm looking at: 1. Donovan McNabb rushing yards: Over 29.5 2. The Mouth, Freddie Mitchell receiving yards: Over 44 3. The Mouth total receptions: Over 2.5 4. The Freak total tackles: Over 3.5 (LOVE this one at +125) 5. First score of game: Any score but TD (+125) 6. Last score of game: Any score but TD (+160) ... Vinatieri, AGAIN! 7. Will game be decided by exactly 3 points? Yes (+300) See #6 Those sound good to me.
Trots
I like "What will Eagles do first? Punt -150 Score +120 ... I like the punt option. Also like " over/under on the number of Patriots to score a TD (2.5) Over +130 Under -150 ... I like the over.
major-tom
I like the over on McNabbs rushing yards also. One I like more is the over on rushing attempts by McNabb. Total Rushing Attempts Made By Donovan McNabb *Over 3.5 Rushing Attempts -130 Under 3.5 Rushing Attempts +100 Total Net Rushing Yards Made By Donovan McNabb Under 28.5 Rushing Yards -120 *Over 28.5 Rushing Yards -110 Longest Pass Completion Made By Donovan McNabb Over 41.5 Yards -120 *Under 41.5 Yards -110 Will New England Patriots Convert A 4th Down *Yes -130 No +

The return on that is really small IMO for the probability of it happening (not saying it won't, just hate the payoff) I also would go with 1st score being a TD, but don't have anything to back me up other than a feeling. But... Vinatieri's been a Super Bowl stud and Akers' leg is definitely trustworthy. If the game remains close, who knows... And as far as the first score goes... I think it's almost TOO easy. Both teams have very solid defenses and good kickers. That just screams FG. Also... forgot these: 1. Fauria first to catch TD (30-1) 2. Troy Brown first to catch TD (25-1) 3. Brady over 20.5 completions 4. Brady over 2.5 rushing yards (hopefully he doesn't kneel 3 times at the end of the game ) 5. Brady over 1.5 passing TDs 6. Total # of Pats to score over 3.5 Just some odds and ends to make the SB even MORE exciting!

slimshim
4. Brady over 2.5 rushing yards (hopefully he doesn't kneel 3 times at the end of the game ) 5. Brady over 1.5 passing TDs 681092 They had that bet last year with Delhomme on o/u 4 rushing yards. I was in Vegas and my friend calls me and tells me that this over bet is the lock of the superbowl. Turns out that Delhomme didn't have 1 rushing yard. My favorite Vegas "fun" props are the ones that compare total points in the game to a basketball players total points, rebounds and assists. I've nailed that one a number of times. Last year it was Sam Cassell. I took the under and won. Slim

I'm not doing ALL of these... I'll probably just do the Fauria one at 30-1 and the Brady props. Will have the den TV on NBA games and the big screen in the living room - of course - on the Super Bowl. Unfortunately, I'm not seeing any NBA vs. Super Bowl props on my book. whomper
I found an interesting one today.Total first downs over 40.5..Pats first downs 20.5. Eagles first downs 18.5. I like eagles first downs under 18.5.Pats could go ball control and shorten the game.

darin3
My personal favorite: Heads or Tails 682070 As much of a degenerate gambler as I am, this one has to take the cake. Can you imagine sittin' there with your buddies watchin' the game, while everyone's getting settled, opening beers, talkin' shiz, and you hold your hands out and shush everyone when the coin is flipped and then go crazy if you win or lose? too much! Dr. Sacrebleu
for comparison purposes: at thegreek.com you can get NE margin of victory 1 to 3 points at 5 to 1, and Philly victory 1-3 points at 6.5 to 1. Meaning you would get a better return than the 3 to 1 prop of EXACTLY 3 points, AND you win if the game is decided by 1 or 2 points as well. Granted you now have to make 2 bets rather than one. But those are significantly better odds. There was nothing even remotely close to the 30-1 Fauria, or 25-1 Brown 1st TD of the game. (Fauria first PATRIOTS Td of the game at 6.5 to 1! and the DailyNews has him listed at 15-1 for 1st TD of the game) So I would jump all over that one if someone's givng it to you. I will light up that Fauria bet right now. TheGreek.com has some interesting bets. I'm starting to get the Super Bowl itch. Do they make a cream for that? Play the d@mn game already! Edit: Creme? I go to the vegas for the Mandalay Bay Casino's VIP party every year for the superbowl. There has got to be 500+ people. Every year after the coin flip you hear hundreds of people cheering and another crowd booing it is hilarious. It is almost like the "karma" bet. Win this and I'm looking at a good day. Go Heads!!! Of course, no one is saying "good job" about that, or my call for the final score being decided by exactly 3 points... nooooo... all these "experts" are razzing us for betting the over on McNabb rushing yards. Where were these gambling studs when we were suggesting these as good bets? Oh that's right, they come out of the woodwork AFTER the game. Morons.
