Guest VoteQuimby
With my beloved Noles I expect a few guys to step up and have a really good year. Lorenzo Booker RB Ernie Simms LB AJ Nicholson LB These LB's were better than Pope and Boulware last year(not saying much), and should quickly become the stregnth of this Defense. With Booker the kid has great moves. This summer he has put on 25 lbs(now at 198), but has increased his 40 time to a 4.3. His one problem so far has been staying healthy, hopefully the extra weight will help out. All three of these kids strike me as driven, hungry and talented. Should be fun to see how it plays out. So who on your team do you think is poised for a big year. I especially would like to hear from Canes 2004(man, I hate you guys ).
Akfatha
in the WCO for neb, our QB of course . all our passing records will for sure be broken this year with ease. but whether our qb will be joe dailey or jordan adams has yet to be decided. i expect our RB to step up, cory ross, or maybe incoming freshie RB brandon jackson, and a linebacker named Bo Ruud, been making noise ever since he stepped on (hes just a redshirt freshie). his older brother is our stud middle backer. and on the D line a man named adam carriker and another end named wali muhammad, man wali is **** fast for an end. he was closing on qbs REAL fast in the spring game. Guest VoteQuimby
Hey KS, didn't rb Clayton(I don't remember his first name, but his nickname is Hollywood)that transferred out of FSU end up at Kansas State? I imagine he should make some noise next year. I knew when Booker, Clayton and Washington all committed two years ago that one would have to leave at some point. Any word on how he is doing? Kansas State 2000
Clayton is stuck behind Sproles but I'd expect the coaches to incorporate him more this year. He has yet to play in any game but he will this year. Here's a super sleeper for you: Tony Madison, 6-3 208 4.37 40 eek! his size and speed already has some NFL scouts watching him closely. Thunder Chicken
For WSU... Will Derting, LB. 80+ tackles last year. Lindy's named him to the 2nd team Defense all-america. and Josh Swogger, Soph QB, taking the reins this year. threw for 5,900+ yards in HS, rushed for 1000+ and 11 TDs his junior and senior year. Division IV Player of the Year, CBS Sports All-American. hoping he makes some noise now that its his team.

Coffeeman
I hope either one or both of the following USC RB's can go off this year: Reggie Bush LenDale White But do I think they actually will? Really tough to say - I'm "cautiously optomistic" about my Trojans in general this year. Bush is a dangerous guy who lines up everywhere, and if he's on the field I'm sure D coordinators scream at all 11 guys to watch him - so he either gets the ball or becomes a great decoy. The big Q here is the O-line: can they be as good at keeping Leinart's jersey clean as they were last year?? Huge IF, but if they do, he'll carve up a lot of teams with the two new WR's who aopparently are cut from the same cloth as Mike W. And if HE comes back, well, then I expect great things again....
