BS Miscreant
How much and how, specifically, will the absense of Plax effect it? Do they just rely more heavily on the run? If that's possible. or Do Wards or someone else's numbers just go way up?
Rovers
I'm no Steeler afficando, but as a Jet fan, I feared Randel-el much more than I ever did Burress. I was actually hoping Burress would start for the Steelers over Randel-el when they played the Jets. Could they use some help? Sure.... but the loss of Burress won't hurt them that much. The loss of thier offensive RT will hurt them more than the loss of Burress.

Avg's 40 rec's a year for his career. He isn't going to be able to replace Burress. I would be worried about the Steeler offense. Hines Ward is a good capable WR but his stats have all been going down since his career year in 2002. Not to say he won't rebound but last year was a mediocre year for him. The Steelers are a running team anyway; Duce Staley doesn't appear to be the type of RB that can carry the ball 300 times and Jerome Bettis is on the wrong side of 3,000 carries. In fact I think Bettis is 3rd all time in rushing attempts behind Emmitt and Walter Payton. They need a playmaker on offense.......... Without Burress to draw coverage and stretch the field, I worry about the vertical aspect of the Steeler's game.
Rovers
You Steeler fans would certainly know better than I would..... but isnt Randal-el supposed to be very fast? It seemed to me that he was always getting behind Jets DB's but either didnt get the ball thrown his way, or got overthrown, etc. Will Mays be able to step up?
