keggerz Posted April 15, 2005 Share Posted April 15, 2005 (edited) LINK GREEN BAY, Wisconsin (Ticker) - Desperate for help in the secondary, the Green Bay Packers on Friday signed safeties Arturo Freeman and Earl Little. Terms were not disclosed. Freeman, 28, spent the first five years of his career with the Miami Dolphins, registering 151 tackles and five interceptions in 72 games. The free safety played in all 16 games with eight starts last season, collecting a career-high four interceptions. Little, 32, played the last six seasons for the Cleveland Browns before being released earlier this offseason. Also a free safety, Little has recorded 392 tackles and 18 interceptions in 102 career games. Green Bay, which released starting free safety Darren Sharper for salary cap purposes, ranked 26th against the pass last season.
