Guest Sores
It's a choice that could give pause to some Packers fans. A judge has ordered a woman convicted of theft to decide whether to spend 90 days in jail or donate her family's Packers tickets next season to charity. Sharon E. Rosenthal, 59, took more than $3,000 from labor union accounts before she left the organization, according to a criminal complaint. She was sentenced Friday in Winnebago County Circuit Court on one felony count of theft. Judge Scott Woldt offered her the decision to either serve the jail time or donate her family's four seats in the Packers' three-game season package to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The jail time or the ticket donation will occur as part of Rosenthal's overall two-year period of probation.
Buffalo Wings
That isn't a fair ruling. Giving up the tickets, doesn't just affect her.

pork chop express
there are so many gaps in this story. Will she get the rights to the tix next year?

The stadium is full of them. Edited April 26, 2005 by Joe Public
Chargerz
She'll take the jail time. As hard as I've heard Packer tickets are to get, nobody in their right mind would give them up!!
Fatman
She'll take the jail time. As hard as I've heard Packer tickets are to get, nobody in their right mind would give them up!! 794442 It should be noted that one of the games is probably for a preseason game, as these appear to be part of the Milwaukee season ticket holder package - two regular season games (which includes Minnesota this year) and an exhibition game. So the punishment is really only eight regular season tickets.
gspot
She'll take the jail time. As hard as I've heard Packer tickets are to get, nobody in their right mind would give them up!! 794442 That's the real question. If she simply has to donate them, but keeps the rights to the seats, its a no brainer. If she has to forfeit the lifetime rights for the seats, I do the 90 days. From the way its written, sounds as though she simply needs to "donate" the three games to charity. As mentioned above, the lack of jail time combined with the philanthropic cause makes it an easy choice.
