Rovers
What's the difference between a dead frog and a Budwieser? The frog has more hops in it.
Azazello1313
i like just about every german weiss beer i've tried (wiehenstephaner and franziskaner hefes, and the hacker-pschorr dunkel are some standouts), but every american wheat beer i've tried -- and i've tried a lot -- sucks. i like all the belgian styles, and try and treat myself to the trappist brews (like chimay and westmalle) once in a while. some of the american "belgians", like the ones put out by ommegang and allegash, are just excellent as well. bass, newcastle and guinness are all old faves. is it just me though, or is it harder to find a really "right" tasting guinness than it was even 5-10 years ago? i like, but don't really love, all of the better american IPAs. had the dogfish head 90-minute IPA recently, and it's a real attention getter (in a good way). the sierra nevada pale ale is always a good bet, too. a few other odds and ends i like are shiner bock, negra modelo, fat tire, and mackeson's milk stout.
