In my two leagues, you can usually discount 2-3 teams after the initial draft. This league would be very competitive and it would all depend on how some of these picks turn out. trrhyne Posted June 23, 2005 Share Posted June 23, 2005 I have never taken a QB early and I felt that some of these teams suffered after taking a QB early. However, in our league last year. The top three teams had the top 3 QB's (Manning, CPep, McNabb). What made the difference is that they had "lower tier" players step up. Has anyone else seen this, especially since so many subscribe to the stud RB theory and according to this draft more RB's go earlier than ever. Our league does give 6 pts for passing TD's, and bonus pts for long TD's. Maybe that is the difference. 1st - CPep, Dillion, Wayne 2nd - Manning, Barber, Holt 3rd - McNabb, Martin, Bennett Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
