muck
Can't be much of a ringing endorsement of Rashaun Woods, I'd think...
major-tom
That just goes to show what kind of shape the Niners are in and how bad their WRs are. Maybe Morton can show the youngsters a thing or two.

I've been trying to tell eveybody this for months now. Rookie QB with a couple of trash heap WRs. Expect worse numbers from Barlow this year as compared to last. The Defense is respectible (like last year) but they will wear down by the late 3rd quarter cause they will be on the feild 75% of the time and then the opposing offense will put up big numbers. Ohhhh the pain.....what happened to the 9ers? Edited June 21, 2005 by Pancake
Beaumont
Historically in SF as I understand it, the feature position for Rice, TO, etc. has been flanker. SF has run Battle at No. 1 at flanker and Lloyd at No. 1 at split end at mini camps. The statements have been that Battle was the most impressive at mini-camps thus far. Â Interesting to see how this effects the Lloyd/Battle values (deeper leagues and dynasty leagues only) ... Morton has traditionally been a split end (Lloyd's position) -- but he played some flanker in KC (albeit with poor results such that they moved him back to split end) ... Â Is he the third WR to replace Hamilton with Woods on the trash pile? The first or second WR over Battle or Lloyd?

Perchoutofwater
Wouldn't you know this would happen right after I draft Arnez Battle late in a dynasty league to put on the DTS. darn my luck.

'canes2004
Where's Alex Smith on the Depth Chart? 851304     Probably hiding in a bunker somewhere in Utah.
Pancake
Where's Alex Smith on the Depth Chart? 851304     Without actually looking at the depth chart I can confidently tell you he will start every game if he is healthy. Why you ask? Its simple. The 9ers have no chance of winning more than 2 games with or with out Alex in the line up so they have nothing to lose by playing him and giving him exposure to the game. Call it rebuilding....seems like they been rebuilding since Mooch left.
Perchoutofwater
seems like they been rebuilding since Mooch left. 851686 They have been rebuilding ever since that wench took over for her brother.
