BigTen Posted July 1, 2005 Share Posted July 1, 2005 Fellas, just sitting at work bored and was wondering who you all might think is/are the most overrated player(s) in the league. Charles Woodson tops my list. The guy was fabulous in college but just has not done anything in the pros. I do not think he is Pro-Bowl caliber. I also think that Plaxico Burress is overrated as well. The guy makes bone-headed plays on and off the field . Both guys have a ton of talent but come up short in my book in execution. When I think of guys who I believe are overrated, they are guys I wouldn't spend an early pick on. You better believe I'd throw a third rounder to land CJ. He talks such a huge game and never comes close to producing hugh numbers. I see him ranked just below TO and Moss; I just think he's light-years behind both of them. Personally, given the option to draft CJ or wait and get a Joe Horn or heck, Marvin Harrison or Reggie Wayne, I would opt for the latter and not get disappointed by CJ. Mind you, CJ could be on the list of "must-draft" studs rather than the "overrated list" this time next year. And I agree with you, fantasy-wise, that McNair's overrated. NFL-wise, though, he's an absolute warrior. I have never liked the undersized WRs like Coles and Moss. Harrison and Mason are the only two exceptions to the rule that I can think of off the top of my head. those are my top 2 in Confusion 861618[/snapback] But in a league like ours, those two guys will be absolute beasts.
